Set up w/Roku, projector, soundbar
I had trouble getting a picture. Then I read a review that mentioned the dip switch codes in the manual! I had to adjust mine to 111 (my input and output are both in port 1) and viola! A home screen. Great compact, matrix. I appreciate the company videos as well. Straightforward, easy set up. Sounds good, functions great, and super small.

This is the one
Bought 3 cheaper devices for 4k120 etc splitting and switch setup but ALL of them cut out or completely dropped the connection continuously. Finally bit the bullet and saw this on reddit but reviews seemed mixed. Honestly if you're having issues with this just update it through port or change EDID with instructions in booklet. Found out after setup that this one can also SHOW 2 DISPLAYS AT ONCE. Currently using with pc, Xbox Series X and 3 monitors. 3rd one is across room on Racing rig and needed a proper beefy device for signal/sound switching without completely doing cable swaps every time. Just wish service port was USB-C but not a deal breaker at all. EDID could definitely be more user friendly and should be coded into future remotes so can be changes remotely. PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS ESPECIALLY EDID PORTION. AS I ALMOST RETURNED because default EDID is 111 and that caused my monitors to switch modes constantly and flicker/drop connection.

Excellent product
This is my second OREI HDMI Matrix 2x2 switcher. I have 2 televisions in my home bar. I have my cable HDMI connected to one input and a Roku in the other. The outputs go to the 2 TVs. I can have cable on either TV with Roku on the other, or both TVs on either signal. The sound from the input is provided to the TV via the HDMI cable (the optical sound / sound extractor are not required). The only hiccup that I had was when I first connected the TVs, only one had sound. I swapped the output ports to the opposite TVs and now it works without any issues.

Claims 4k at 120 HZ but does not work
Very bold claim to say the device supports a matrix at 4k @ 120 HZ when many producers of these video switches say the chips they're getting are not capable of handling the bandwidth reliably. Sure enough, this matrix does not sufficiently support 4k @ 120 HZ. A number of times after using an Xbox Series X running a game at 4k @ 120 HZ (with HDR) for a few hours there were signs the matrix was not capable of handling the bandwidth. Severe screen tearing and times were output to the monitor were completely disabled. Messing with the EDID DIP did not render much different results. Output still failed after a few hours of playing. Running at 1080p @ 30 HZ wasn't an issue but I don't think most people want to pay $100+ for a matrix that only does 1080p at 30 HZ. I would not buy this device for 4k @ 120 HZ if you want a reliable device. If you're ok with not seeing what you're playing for long durations I would highly suggest this product.

PS5 and Xbox Series X
TLDR: it didn’t work at first. Cycled power and now it seems to be working. I bought this because most of the time I use my big screen for either the Xbox or the PS5. I have more than one screen set up and occasionally I want to play on the smaller screen or want both Xbox and PS5 on to play with someone else at the same time. When I first turned it on I could only get one output working. A few power cycles later and it worked but was a frustrating start. Will continue to monitor going forward. If it requires a manual unplug every time to reset then I’ll end up returning it. For now since it works but wasn’t flawless 4 stars

Works perfectly with PS5
I purchased this to replace my Astro PS5 adapter since I was unable to achieve 1440p while using my A40 TR with mixamp. Worked as expected. I still need to play with the switches to see what is the optimal setting. I highly recommend if you are looking for an audio extractor and using multiple devices with multiple displays.

Bom, mas não em 120hz
O produto é bom, porém comprei para usar com o volante onde eu queria alternar o Xbox S/X e o PS5, em 120 ele fica piscando, ou seja, não suporta.

Splitting hdmi to separate for audio and visual devices
Seems to be doing the job so far. I had issues with signal drops to my projector whilst I was passing my firestick through the hdmi-in/out on my soundbar. I'm now using this to split my hdmi feeds between the projector and surround sound system
