Nishiki Medium Grain Rice, 80 Ounce

This is very good rice. tastes good, and you can use it to make California rolls. It's also economically priced, that is, not too expensive. It's an excellent product.

I love Nishiki rice, as the brand is good quality and this is the only type of rice that I actually like eating. I love just washing it, throwing it in the rice cooker, and letting it do it's thing, and it comes out fluffy and sticky every time! Great in rice balls, with curry, with stir-fry, even just plain with a little rice seasoning or a side of kimchi. And the price online is so much better than it is in my local grocery stores!

I absolutely love this Nishiki Premium Sushi Rice! The 10lb bag is great value and lasts a while. The grains are consistently short and plump, cooking up perfectly sticky and fluffy every single time. It has a lovely, slightly sweet flavor and a pleasant chewy texture that works wonderfully for sushi, onigiri, or even just as a side for stir-fries. It rinses clean and absorbs water well. If you want authentic, high-quality results at home, this is the rice to buy.

I just love love love this rice! It makes the best Tajik/Uzbek pilaf. Highly recommend it. I tried many other varieties of rice purchased in Coscto, supermarkets Tashkent and Netcost in Brooklyn, but they were all a waste of money. This was the tastiest, sweetest rice best for pilaf. Now I keep buying it myself and recommend to all other people around me.

the best rice for sushi. its so much cheaper than buying at the grocery store, its crazy.. Love my sushi and make it weekly at home for my family. This is high quality rice and texture is just like sushi in the restaurant. I cook it in the ration 1.5 cup of water-1 cup of rice... wash it under cold water until water is not milky any longer...20 min and its ready-no rice cooker needed, just use very low heat level

I needed to get resupplied on rice, and the price was a definite draw. I was very happy with the quality of the rice. The grains were uniform with few broken. I did a batch of four cups in my rice cooker, had some as a side with dinner, and some for fried rice the following night. The results were perfect. Fried rice had no clumps, was fluffy with an outstanding texture. The remainder went into a pilaf and the results were, again, perfect. Will buy again!

Love this rice. I frequently make Japanese inspired meals, like Katsu Chicken, and this rice is great. I found a recipe online on how to 'Qujick' cook it in then microwave, and it has been a game changer.
