This filament looks to be good quality. It’s easy to print, at 220 degrees I saw no stringing or blobs at all. Brims tore off easily. The color change is consistent across the entire print and it has a silky shimmer. It fits perfectly on my printer although I don’t have an AMS to test it in. The spool also fits on my storage rack with no problems. It’s a good value for the money, I’ll definitely buy this brand and give the other colors a chance again.

I’ve gone through multiple spools of this SUNLU silk PLA now, and it has been consistently excellent. The prints come out smooth with a shiny, silky finish that really elevates the final look. It feeds cleanly, prints reliably, and produces far fewer issues than I expected from a silk filament. I’m using this on a Bambu P1S, and honestly, this filament has worked noticeably better for me than the Bambu Labs filament I’ve tried. Layer adhesion has been solid, and the surface quality is fantastic right off the printer. The silk gold color is especially fun—I’ve been using it to make coin tokens for board games, and they look incredible. If you’re looking for a reliable, eye-catching silk PLA, this is an easy recommendation.

I’ve had really good results with this filament. The color shift looks great in prints and gives finished pieces a nice visual pop without needing any post-processing. Printed a couple fidget toys with this and they came out beautifully. The color transitions look really nice, and the finish actually has that smooth, almost silk-like feel to it. Printed clean with no issues and gave the prints a really nice polished look straight off the bed. If you’re looking for something that stands out and gives your prints that extra visual pop, this is a solid choice.

Overall a very nice silk filament but required a bit of tweaking and major design considerations to get the desired results Pros: <> Good value <> Required a bit of tweaking and the use of Glue to make it stick on Textured PLA plate <> Prints look nice Cons: <> Color change is every 8 meters. This means that you have to carefully plan your project in order to get the color graduation desired. On smaller prints you may need to print multiple copies in order to use the 8 meters of a single color and force a change. I wish they would sell options of 4 meter and 2 meter color chantge.

Great filament. I bought the silk color, and it looks excellent with a very shiny finish. I’ve had no issues printing with it, and the results have been very consistent. Overall, great print quality and color.

This is a lovely colour of silk plastic, with a re-useable spool. Sunlu PLA is great quality and prints well. Set up on a Bambu A1 with AMS lite as generic silk pla as even though the Sunlu is a choice on the app, it appears to set the temperatures too low. Love this colour
