The ethernet is 10/100 - does not support Gigabit speed. I recently replaced a Roku Ultra which was having a great deal of trouble with 4k Ultra HD content due to the Ethernet port being only 10/100. While a 4k stream should not require more than 100mbit on its own, my home network has almost 30 devices on it. The Roku was one of the only media devices with 10/100. When bandwidth is being apportioned from the router, it is not enough (due to overhead). Replaced it with a Shield TV Pro and so far, everything is working. If this unit had come with a Gigabit port, I would be ordering one right now. **Q: Will this device allow me to watch OTA channels?** A: It will not let you watch OTA channels natively, however you have a couple of options (without subscriptions to streaming).
