The best looking out of the Cobi Gripens due to its ‘camouflage’ scheme made of dark and light grey bricks. The new swappable landing gear is an improvement over the older landing that just folded under the model if using the stand. Assembly is straightforward and all pieces fit well, no parts that drop off. Mine wasn’t missing anything in the box, I’ve only had that issue with the larger ship models with 2000+ pieces.

Building this with my boyfriend was extremally fun! The accuracy is quite nice.

Got down to the last three steps of build didn't have all of pieces need to complete plane, became frustrated threw against wall!

Ordered as gift. The wrong manual was in the box, also several of the bags containing parts were opened, pieces were also missing. Started the return process, which is an application process to request a new item, not simply an exchange. Overall disappointed as it was a gift. I think if all of the above would not have happened it would be a great product.

A great representation of one of my favourite planes

Ich habe das Cobi Modell vom Gripen für unter 35€ bestellt. Der Gripen wurde am nächsten Tag von Amazon geliefert. Das Cobi Modell war in 2h aufgebaut und sieht sehr gut aus. Alle Teile waren vorhanden und es gab keine Aufkleber, weil alles bedruckt ist. Bin voll auf zufrieden, darum volle 5 Sterne und es wird nicht mein letztes Cobi Modell sein......

Good price at £39 although the part count is not as high as others in the range. Took me about 3.5 hours in one sitting and the build is solid and satisfying to do. Instructions are okay but keep an eye on what you are doing as it's easy to make a mistake with the alternating winter camo pattern. Only half a mini figure with this one but no big deal. I built a few of Cobis earlier tank models and ww2 fighters and they seem to have progressed with manufacturing technology. Unfortunately the prices have also increased over the years.
