The tint is just enough to dim the sunlight for visual comfort, but not so dim as to interfere with dusk/night vision. Sturdy. Does flex in the wind (it's 57+ inches across) a bit, but nothing problematic and certainly not going to pop out of the frame or anything like that. The top section rests against a cross-piece with gasket that comes in the windshield package. This is what minimizes the flex and keeps things well within acceptable (read as low) limits. That's also why you can tow the vehicle with the window installed.On my machine (2007/8 500 EFI Ranger 4x4) I had installed an aftermarket roof that has a front extension/shade that extends quite a bit past the rollbar frame. Keep the sun out of your eyes fine, but gets in the way of being able to fold this window down. No problem, I just mounted a small block at the front of the rollbars that lifts the front of the aftermarket roof enough for this windshield to flip down. Flip down feature is nice for hot days when you DO want a breeze in your face, or if you're going through some dense tree overhangs so you can prevent scratches on the upper windshield half.Would definitely recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐ Would not fit without modifications. *by R***G on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2020* Product quality was good. But...The top (3rd) part of the windshield would not fit without modifications. The lip for that top part that meshes with the center shield needs to be cut since they did not account for the cross brace at the top of a stock roll cage. That lip rides against it and therefore will not lie flat. Either they did not fully complete the cutting of the top windshield, had a poor design, or never actually tried the install on the exact UTV. There is a note in their "very poor" instruction that the top part may not be needed but that leaves too big a gap for rain to get through. I will make it work since it is too much a pain to return it. If I were just rating the bottom two parts of the window I would have given it 4-5 stars. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ With Minor Modifications, Fits 2008 Ranger 500 *by B***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2018* Excellent replacement for the windshield in my 2008 Ranger 500.
