I wanted 4 channels, scale appearance, and the option to fly with and without stabilization. These aircraft are really well constructed and can take crash after crash with little to no damage - no, seriously. The spitfire is a beauty and doesn’t suffer from the adverse yaw effect some of the other models do. Does not like to fly slow. Tons of power and a very healthy flight time. Very pleased with my purchases. Scratched the itch. Seeing as a lot of these planes are grouped under the same review page, I’d like to offer my opinions on the several I own. The blue and white p-51 was a little tricky at first, but flies very well. Looks very scale in the air. Check your wing after a few good crashes, like mine the glue might fail and start to detach! The Corsair was definitely the trouble child. Without stabilization it was nearly impossible to fly. The CG was in the correct place, but ultimately I had to add a nickel to the nose to make it fly great! The Mitsubishi zero offs by far the best of the series. It flies so well right off the bat. Nothing aerodynamically surprising like a few of the others. Best all around. The BF-109 was hard to fly at first. At low speeds it had severe adverse yaw effects, and requires full throttle and right rudder on takeoff . Once sufficient air is flowing around it, it smooths out quite nicely. Flies a lot like the bigger models! Review: Yeah, you'll probably break it but... - If you're new to RC planes, like me, you'll have to accept that it's impossible to make an unbreakable rc plane (I initially wrote a 1 star review after breaking all 5 propellers on the first day). There's a steep learning curve, and you will most likely break it while learning, but once you overcome these issues, it's one of, if not the best, budget RC planes you could buy. Get the insurance too, so you don't lose all your money when it breaks. When the system works, you'll get a couple beeps from the transmitter and your throttle gets cut to 50%. I've had it give a warning and continued that 50% throttle for 20 seconds, I did it in a controlled environment taped down to my toolbox, got 30 seconds, repeated the test with another battery and stopped counting after 200 seconds.. A week later while flying with a couple buddies over the soybean field, I got my 2 beeps, aimed it towards me, and then it cut power hard.. found it a month later as the beans dried up, less the 48 hours from harvest. In short, it might beep, it may not, (one of my buddy's doesn't beep, we all bought 2 different planes each). The beeps means start paying extra close to your environment, hopefully you weren't too far out like me. **Q: Where would i get a replacement plane if this one bites the dust? We wouldnt need the ckntroller or the battery or the spare parts just the plane.** A: Any hobby shop will have a plane that could work with your other supplies… **Q: how can i know is low batteries ?** A: when battery low it will emit a faint alarm tone. I recommend flying the aircraft to a safe area when you notice a significant drop in flight speed, it means the battery is about to run out. **Q: The listing says 4 Chanel plane but it looks like there are only 3 servos. Is this actually only 3 channels?** A: This is a 4-channel RC airplane in the usual sense. 1 channel controls 2 ailerons, 2 channels control elevation, 3 channels control throttle, and 4 channels control rudder. The 2 ailerons are controlled by one servo, so the whole aircraft uses 3 servo controllers. Beginners safe mode. *by B***R on December 5, 2025* I’d received a plane that had, clearly, been returned by someone who’d kept the batteries, charger and propellers. Amazon made good, tho’. It’s a wonderful park flyer. I’m getting four minute flights on a battery. Having the beginner’s safe mode makes it a wonderful introduction to RC and its survived a few crashes with very little damage. The propellers pop off in a collision and I’ve lost more than broken. The weak link is the battery compartment and hatch; the battery is a hard fit- literally stuffing it- with its cable- into the compartment below the nose, and the cover must be forced to latch. I’ve already broken mine.
