lovely all-cotton sheets
beautiful fabric, perfect weight, truly 100% cotton. what few wrinkles they have disappear when hung outdoors overnight, and love that fresh air aroma! only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars; the color hunter green leans toward a dark olive green, not a rich warm color as I had hoped. substantial weave, decent sale price. what has happened to make cotton so expensive? I just came across a twin cotton sheet set on amazon for $250, and can't imagine that they could be any nicer than this set! is that miserable poly-microfiber taking over the bedding market? IMO all cotton is the only way to go for bedding, am curious to know who agrees....

Quality is ok
Im not sure if its pure cotton but its soft. The sheets are a shiny type of material. I’ve only used the fitted sheets & pillow covers but it seems alright as far ss the quality.

Egyptian Sheet and Pillowcase Set
These sheets and pillowcases set are unbeatable at the price offered. Have been disappointed with other items that claim to be Egyptian Cotton but are not but these are exactly as they claim to be. The quality and feel is great and would have no hesitation in recommending these to anyone. You would not be disappointed.UPDATE - January 24th, 2013 - Having purchased ten pairs of Egyptian cotton sheet sets in September 2012, this means that each pair has only been used and laundered a couple of times since delivery but today when I remade the bed using the Taupe colored sheets, I noticed two quite large holes in the fitted sheet and since I have laundered all the sheets the same way as the manufacturer specifies, in cold water on a delicate cycle with a delicate cycle used for the dryer, I am clueless as to why the holes have appeared because I have had sheet sets last several years with no holes developing, so to have this happen after only two uses and launderings, is very disconcerting.I contacted Amazon who to their credit replied immediately and said I can return the sheet set for a full refund, although it is out of the 30 day return policy but under the circumstances, they agree that holes appearing after such a short time is not what customers should have to expect.I appreciate that there are many different priced Egyptian cotton sheets available on the market and perhaps $50 is not a lot to pay when some sets can cost double that figure, but whether an item is priced very low or extremely high, no one would buy an item, if they were aware that it would only last a few weeks before disentegrating, so whether this particular sheet had a flaw in the weave or not, I am relieved that Amazon have agreed to refund my money without any problems but I have asked them to explain what their decision would be if in the coming weeks, the same thing happens to the other colored Egyptian sheet sets that I purchased from them at the same time, as I do not relish the thought of having to stitch up holes in new sheets that I had imagined would last a few years at least.

Great sheets, available in hard to find colors like Hunter Green
The color is a deep Hunter Green, yep, just like from the nineties .... I guess that is where I am stuck! :-)I have other sheet sets from this manufacturer in 400 count, and there is no doubt that they are nicer than this 300 count set. But I needed them fast, and 400 count was not available in Hunter Green on Amazon at the time I was purchasing. The 300 count are a little thinner, and feel more silky and cooler to the touch, whilst the 400 count feel thicker and warmer to the touch rather than silky. The 400 count feel warm when you get in bed in the winter, I don't think the 300 count will so much.I have washed them, in cold water (always) with a little conditioner. They look great, no apparent shrinking, and best of all, no wrinkling. If I find they wear worse than the 400 count I will come back and update this review. But my initial thought at this time is if they have the color you want in 400 count I'd recommend you pay the extra few dollars, and it really is only a little more expensive. The color is a little different between the 400 and 300 count sets I have, but only as much as you might see in any two items from different dye lots.UPDATE:I just bought more sheets in Queen size and was disappointed to notice that the pillowcases are only 30", thankfully I noticed before I opened the packet, but sadly not before I ordered. I have ordered a set of King size pillowcases, but that is extra expense, and they are currently out of stock in the color I need :-(IMO 30" is really a standard size pillow not a queen size, so if you have queen size pillows they may be longer than the pillowcases sold with the queen set. You might want to check before you order.Overall, we are happy with the sets we have had for some time now. They launder well, needing no ironing :-) and we have no trouble with pilling or roughness that other reviewers have mentioned, and there has been no noticeable shrinkage.

Sheet set
I have a King size mattress and I've always had trouble with them fitting right and I had read that someone orders the California King size and they fit so much better so I ordered them and "yes" it was a much better fit. These sheets did not "pill" at all as one of the other reviews had said. I followed the instructions as soon as I received them and wash them in cold water. They were a little wrinkled when they came out of the dryer but not that bad (I've bought sheets at Bed, Bath & Beyond and paid alot more money than these and they wrinkled awful!) These sheets are very comfortable nice and cool. I love cool sheets. The only reason I was a little disappointed in them was the color. My bedroom is lavender and these weren't the color I was expecting. They were lavender but not the same lavender as my bedroom. I was a little nervous with the delivery also. I track everything on-line and they had said my sheets were delivered and they were (but not to my door) they were in my mailbox down the road (I live in a condo complex) Although they were locked up I thought they were being delivered to my door! I was about ready to start making phone calls asking where my sheets were! All in all "Yes" for the price? These sheets are worth buying, I just wouldn't order them in thier shade of Lavender again.
