I sanded mine, added inside grip tape and it is a bit better, but the balance still bugs me a bit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Company with a Great product *by P***I on Reviewed in the United States on April 5, 2012* This was my first LED hula hoop I have ever purchased, and I LOVE IT! At first, it seemed like it was too light for my experience level. (Heavier hoops with a diameter at least 40" are easier to learn with.) However, I'm glad I bought the size I did, because after a week of practicing, my hoop is light enough to do tricks, but was heavy enough to learn and not get frustrated. It arrived earlier than expected, and when I got it it was coiled up slightly, and the instructions said to let it naturally uncoil. (It took about an hour and a half to uncoil.) The battery is fully charged when it arrived, and the lights were very bright and lasts for a long time (about 5-6 hours it seemed like). The second time I charged the battery the hoop didn't come on at all. I contacted the company and they shipped me a new battery (the battery for the hula hoop is a special kind of AA) free of charge! When I emailed the company they replied within hours and were EXTREMELY sweet and accomidating. I love this company! This is definetly not my last hoop I will purchase from them!The hoop also only needs 1 special AA battery and the battery that is included, also is rechargable and comes with a recharger! Since I was a beginner I dropped my hoop quite a bit, mostly on carpet or grass, and I also got caught in a rain storm, and it still works wonderfully! ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars LED hoop- Melon Slice *by S***A on Reviewed in the United States on October 31, 2013* Its a beautiful colored hoop, but it does have some balance issues. Plus the lighting on it is always dim even after charging the batery for an hour or two.
