## Description

The Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 features individually programmable backlit keys with 16.8 million color options, all easily set through Razer Synapse. From preloaded lighting effects for different types of games, to your own custom uniquely programmed palette of colors, you can effortlessly enhance your gaming experience in a way that is unique Only to you. Razer Mechanical switches have consistently proven themselves to be the best for gaming, delivering both top-notch performance and reliable durability without compromise. This very same Razer technology and design is now being manufactured in-house end to end, ensuring even stricter requirements are met for each switch produced, resulting in a life span of up to 80 million key strokes.

Review: Perfect. Only issue is Synapse and everyone hates that anyway. - So, unlike a lot of other people on here, I'm just going to say this keyboard is perfect for me so far. Yeah, if you get a defective product from ANYWHERE, you send it back and get a new one. When you buy electronics of any type you do have a risk of not receiving a flawless one, yes. Welcome to technology. Anyways, I got this keyboard with the orange switches and I love them. My last keyboard was a K65 LUX RGB which has a similar form factor and used Cherry MX Reds. These Razer Orange keys have a bump before they're fully pressed down which gives a nice amount of feedback while typing or gaming. The sound is very.. tight and feels mostly contained within the keyboard itself. The version with orange switches is not even remotely loud compared to a lot of other switches, most of the noise is just the keys bottoming out above the faceplate (which I believe is also metal.) Very nice sound without being overbearing. Lighting? Perfect if the software works. I have a Lancehead mouse and I organized these on the virtual table on Chroma Studio to talk to each other and it works flawlessly with whatever color design or scheme you want. Doesn't feel like I've ever missed any keys registering and the MAGNETIC wrist rest is absolutely incredible. If you have very, very big hands you may not be able to comfortably use it but I feel that goes for most keyboards. Probably shouldn't get a TKL in that case. Build feels nice, a little heavy, some plastic, some metal. Detachable cable is braided, and.. detachable. Quickly recognized and working after plugged in. I got this for $70 on sale which is an unbelievable deal and I probably should have bought more than one. I would not pay more than 100 or 120 at the most though.. at that point you might get into what COULD be slightly more premium things. Different market. If it's around 100 get it. It puts letters on a screen. (Edit: June 2025 and I am still using this keyboard. Absolutely perfect. Shame they got rid of the orange switches.)
Review: Best tkl keyboard ive ever used with the best wristrest for any keyboard. - I have both the orange and yellow switch versions of this keyboard and its the most solid keyboard ive used. For reference, ive had a lot of keyboards including the original blackwidow chroma (green switches), blackwidow chroma v2 (green switch non TE version), lg pro, corsair k95 plat rgb (brown switches), rog strix flare (red switches), and more. Yellow was great but i just never got used to how sensitive the switches were so orange was the perfect fit for my preferences. Razer has always had the stigma of being over gamery but the font on this js very pleasantly presentable; not edgy gamery. Lighting is nice and even. Switches are responsive and feel great to type on. I have no clue as to why but on some keyboards like the lg pro, i miss keys and just struggle with some but this keyboard works so well for me, i absolutely love it. Typing on this is a breeze. Software is aight. Just wish i could control the brightness more, rather than a "bright, normal, dim, off" setting, but thats a seriously small nitpick.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice little tkl gaming rgb keyboard
*by H***K on March 2, 2022*

Product arrived in a box that had a dent in it, and the seam of the armrest was damaged so that you could see the foam. Started a request with Razer but determined I would return this product after testing. Great rgb effects and the brown switches were very nice. the symbols across 1-0 do not light up, along with a few other symbols (function). No dedicated media controls, but function key provided some across the top. Keys were great to press and the form factor was sleek. Armrest was comfy and plushy. Honestly all the things I wanted in a keyboard! I was unsure about converting to a tkl keyboard and I now know they are not for me, I work in an office and default to the keypad more than I realized. I also prefer a keyboard with dedicated function keys. Converting to a Corsair K95.
