Are the stitch markers open like in the pictures? The ones I have are closed, even when"open". Hurts my fingers to bend them open to use

Some open some closed I haven’t bought this product but have various ones you have to be amble to open and close them otherwise no good for you. Maybe use plastic coloured paper clips ?
