Love it!
I could not be more pleased with a kitchen faucet as this one. Itβs both beautiful and functional. I love the chrome finish and the overall quality of the faucet. The pullout spray handle is metal and not plastic as most are these days. The stop and pause function is more practical than I had expected. Much better than the battery operated faucets available for the touch to start and stop. There isnβt a thing I donβt like about it. I treat it like itβs a piece of sculpture in the room when I talk about it to my friends. German engineers are the best! (Iβm not German by the way.)

Nice Product
The faucet looks really nice in my kitchen but couldn't believe that Grohe would use plastic for the sprayer, the rest of the unit is durable. One more thing the water pressure from this unit is sub-standard. The sprayer part has a very small sprayer unit nossell so it doesn't spray very hard and I find I use more water to clean and move debris around in my sink because of the little water pressure.

Pull-out tap leaks
I thought this was a beautiful tap and that having the option to pull out the faucet allows me to clean much easier. I could not be more wrong. Because you are able to pull out the faucet, that part also allows water to sip down the hose, creating puddles of water under your basin. Now, I have to resort to putting a small container to collect water under the basin and making sure that it's completely dry after each wash. Completely regret buying it. To be fair, it's not Hansgrohe's fault. My advice is not to use this sort of pull-out faucets at all.

It leaks - "by design"
The Hansgrohe 04870800 Talis S kitchen faucet when it was new, 13 months ago, was perfect. When you shut the water off - it immediately stopped coming out of the faucet neck. Then a few months ago it started to drip from the end of the faucet neck until the water was all out it. This outlet end is 3 inches below the top of the neck . I replaced the cartridge which they supplied for nothing on their life warranty. It still leaked when shut off. I thought that it could be the corroded aerator. It was not. When I contacted Hansgrohe technical services I was told by Michael (in an email): βit is normal for a faucet with a high spout to drip for a little bit after shutting off. The residual water up in the spout drains out after shutting it off.β My friend returned his Hansgrohe to Costco because of supply line issues. His Delta replacement faucet that has a long neck shuts off immediately. I have another Delta faucet with a 2.5β neck outlet below the top of the neck β it does not drip. In summary, I love the aesthetics but hate the design flaw.

Hansgrohe is the best
I purchased from Amazon Warehouse, which I usually don't have a problem with and generally save a substantial sum of cash. But in this case, the faucet was missing several pieces. So I ordered another one, and it too was missing pieces. But between the two, I was able to assemble a functioning faucet. It was easy to install and works like a champ.

Function over Form
We haven't had it long enough to fully review as to if it will hold up. Had it professionally installed so can't evaluate ease. But I do like it a lot functionally , not so much stylistically. Looks more like for a bathroom than a kitchen. Most faucets that contain a sprayer hose are too tall for our sink area, but this one is short so works well for that application. The spray and hose are very convenient, in that you can use sprayer without pulling out hose, but downside on sprayer is that you have to turn faucet off to stop the spray. Also not sure if the rubber on button for the sprayer will hold up. But it does seem well made and the mixer faucet does give true cold and hot and no leaks so far only three weeks after installation.

Beautiful Functional Faucet
Great faucet. Love it. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the sprayer portion of the faucet is made from plastic. I thought it would be the heavy material that I am used to with Hansgrohe, but I imagine the design wouldn't allow all of that weight in a pull out sprayer. I've had this faucet for 4 months and I think it's great and worth the price.

Anyone paying full price is crazy. This faucet is poor quality and comparable to a big box in house brand. Seriously, the head is all plastic and feel VERY cheap. On top of being cheap, the head started leaking within the first day. It would leak out of the head and back down the pull-out hose. Totally unacceptable. Skip this brand and just buy a big box brand for like 1/3 the price. It will be better quality and save you big money.
