I also needed to use a tool to help remove some of the stubborn gunk. While it did work eventually, the amount of product required and extra effort needed to completely clear the drain was a bit much. It deodorizes and freshens well, and it’s safe for septic systems, but be prepared to use a significant amount if the clog is tough!
