These locks are easy to use (for adults) and keep our toddler out of the oven and freezer very well. I would've liked for the slider to work in the opposite direction, but it's perfectly functional. The adhesive is robust. It was inadvertently tested (which I'll get to later) and is stronger than the plastic it's attached to. I put one on the freezer drawer. My wife forgot it was there, and forced it open. 100% baby proof. The locking arm ripped off the swivel base before the adhesive failed. It took a while of scraping with a plastic blade to remove the adhesive So long as you fully clean the area where the pads will attach, these locks will hold very, very well. I recommend several scrubbings with rubbing alcohol before placing to ensure grease is not present on the surface.

These actually work! They are easy to install and work well. They are simple to unlock so it’s not a hassle but keeps my toddler from taking everything out of the fridge when I have my head turned!

So far so good. Bought these for a couple of frigs/freezers. Main reason for purchase was for the frig in my husband's semi. While traveling these often pop open on rough roads. Purchased to keep his frig closed. Used another on our garage freezer as a few times it has been left slightly open. Easy to install, easy to open. No question as to whether or not the frig/freezer is closed completely.

We love these things! ...but we also hate them at the same time. hahaha They are small enough to be unobtrusive, and they tuck in nicely out of sight. We only hate them because they work so darned well! We keep forgetting about them and yanking on the door because we forget about them. HAHA! Very solid construction, super easy to use, and the adhesive is strong enough that we pull our fridge out a little every time we forget. Worth every penny and I would highly recommend for anyone with small kids or a garage fridge where the door doesn't always stay closed.

Although it’s marketed as a child safety device, we purchased it for a different purpose. It is used as an added security measure to keep our upright freezer door from accidentally popping open. Love this refrigerator lock. We use it on our garage refrigerator so that it never accidentally gets left open. Also works great on cabinet doors in trailers that bump around and open on their own Easy one hand open and close.
