Fun, but a little dated
I wish I had found this CD ten years ago. I would have loved it then. Now, like fade haircuts and MC Hammer pants, it all seems out-of-date (ok, maybe it's not that bad). Worth a few listens, but I'm guessing that unless you're already a fan, it probably won't become a favorite CD.

Jovanoti is the best
This is probably the best Italian singer/song writer in Italian music. even if you don't understand Italian, your going to love the music, absolutely fun to listen to. rock, hip hop, pop it's in here. awesome!, your going to sing and dance I promise you.

Truly a music CD of the world, not just Italian.
I was in Italy in 1995/1996 and i saw the "Questa E'La Mia Casa" video on tv. The album was Lorenzo 1997 L'Albero. I loved it. Eveywhere i went, somebody was playing Lorenzo music. His music will get you closing your eyes and swaying away to where ever you choose to be. I liked the rhythm and the use of strings. Very catchy. I am back in East Asia now and when i listen to this CD(Lorenzo 1997 L'Albero), I miss so much being in Italy.I miss it because i listened to Lorenzo while i was there.

Great cross-cultural experience
It's fun to hear Italian lyrics flowing over trans-world rhythms in a funky, hip-hop manner. Jovanotti has a positive, upbeat take on the world. It's great for learning Italian. This is his best since it spans his early career; "Capo Horn" is less fun although it has a few gems. If you don't speak Italian you'll wish you did, and wonder at how well it raps.

universal vibe
I was lucky enough to become addicted to jovanotti whilst I spent a year in Italy. The beat contageous and the lyrics (if youre fortunate enough to understand) inspirational. Take time to really listen, positive thought surrounded by a funky beat, everything from acid jazz to pop, whatever your musical taste it will make you move.
