Really enjoy this drink. The effect is subtle but definitely there. It’s not going to make you high in any way, just knock the edge off and help let you wind down and relax. Some flavors are better than others-as with anything, but I haven’t had any I just did not like. I have re-purchased multiple times.

I ordered this twice in the same month, which should tell you everything. The variety pack is the move if you haven't tried Recess Mood yet — you get to find your flavor and honestly they're all good enough that it's hard to pick one.Beyond the taste, these actually work. There's a real calm that comes with them — not drowsy, just settled. I reach for one in that mid-afternoon window when my brain needs a reset and it delivers every time. The name isn't just branding. You really do feel the mood shift.

I bought these and the Tru drinks, along with some Kava drinks. I find myself reaching for Recess mood first because of the taste. They are relaxing, but nothing like a real sedative, so set your expectations low when it comes to a change of state, but they're just enough for me to have a nighttime drink to balance out the coffee I drink during the day. Kava might be more of an intoxicant, but it is really not that great. I will drink them before social situations, but it might cause liver damage so I wouldn't make it a regular habit. The Recess mood drinks seem harmless from a herbal/drug standpoint. I don't think you can overdo the ingredients, which makes them slightly more attractive in my mind. I think I will buy them again. I don't know why, but it's important for me, psychologically to have some sort of drink to balance out coffee, even if they don't do that much. I have noticed that when I drink them, in the morning I wake up with the satisfied feeling of a good nights rest.

I love these drinks. I buy them from Healthy Living, when I’m in Vermont. When I’m down south, I’ve found no retailer that carries them. I love the flavors, and that it have more flavor than the typical zero sweetener, seltzers, that mainly just have a scent for flavor, yet they are still very light. They are great for adding other flavors or fruit, or for making cocktails. I think it’s a high quality product. Not sure I feel anything from the health-benefits standpoint, but I do love them. My biggest problem, though, is price. They are very expensive, and I’m not sure why, since 99 percent of this product is water.

I always hesitate when buying drinks that seem like a gimmick. But Recess genuinely surprised me. The mellow effect is subtle, yet noticeable. I feel more relaxed and less mentally cluttered without feeling too sleepy. I also love that there is no alcohol crash or hangovers to worry about. The flavors remind me of a seltzer, not too sweet and very refreshing. Highly recommend if you want a little mellow in your life without feeling knocked out or hungover!

Just ok compared to others. It had cleaner ingredients so we thought we would give it a try. It tastes a little weak/just like filtered water. Not as strong as other similar products either. Overpriced in my opinion for the quality.

I have to say, I have been enjoying these mocktails nightly. The flavors are fantastic- very refreshing and definitely hit the spot! The L-Theanine is a gentle nudge to relax from the day’s stress. I will be purchasing them again.

My hubby and I recently stopped drinking and we’ve been in the market for NA drinks. We tried Zerosecco (zero-proof prosecco) from Aldi and it was way too sweet. NA cocktails at bars and restaurants tend to lean sweet as well. Well we decided to try out Recess and to our surprise, it was very enjoyable! Guilt-free, not too sweet, and includes adaptogens and magnesium to help us relax. I would recommend this for people who don’t like sugary drinks, like us. We love Spindrift and plain sparkling mineral water so this was right up our alley. We will probably try their other flavors after finishing this case. So far, the Grapefruit Tangerine is my favorite.
