Excellent inexpensive set of headphones (No Mic)
Had a pair very similar to these some years ago. The left ear went out and I have been looking for a replacement since. THIS pair is the best! I love the sound quality, and the balance is perfect. The best part is that the bar connecting the two earpieces is NOT xstiff or tight. In fact, very flexible. MUCH nicer than the other pair I bought to test! Very much a keeper - fits my cell phone, laptop AND desk top perfectly.

The best workout headphones I can find
These fit all of my criteria for workout headphones. They're corded. The weight of the cord keeps them in place on my ear and don't bounce around like wireless over the ear headphones, nor do they fall out like the earplug type headphones. One caveat to this is that the cord is far too long (I would like to point out, not heavy on the ears, just long). I am a 6'1' fat guy and I could wear my music device on my ankles and still use these headphones. When on a treadmill I run with the cord through my shirt, and my phone on the console with cord left. A couple of other gripes due to length, you have to watch when you go to the bathroom because the cord will sway out and touch everything (not inside, but the bowl/urinal itself for men and women I would think) and around equipment it tends to generally get in the way as any long cord would. But I would rather have this problem than being wireless. Or I could just come up with a solution and be done with it. Update: I just wrap the cord around my phone a couple of times and shove it in my pocket. . They are over-the-ear and behind the neck. As explained, I hate earplug headphones because they fall out with sweat (for me anyway). They are also rigid because they are connected in the back by a solid piece of plastic holding them in place. I also fear that over-the-head headphones will eventually rotate to the front or to the back requiring adjustment every so often. I never have to adjust these. Just put them on and go. Comfortability is good, not exceptional. I had some discontinued Sony headphones that I think this company mimicked, but this plastic seems more stiff/thicker or less pliable. It's usually just when I go to put them on, it may feel slight discomfort while adjusting, but then I don't notice it after that. Also, it seems like the padding could be just slightly thicker. They are good for now, but I think they will wear out quickly with extended usage. These are not deal breakers for the price, but something that just catches my attention once in a great while. Sound quality is good enough. These are cheap headphones, I am not expecting to rock the house with base from these. But if you want some tunes and/or a podcast while you work out, these fit the bill. I almost forgot to mention the "tangle free" cord. It's long, but I am pleasantly impressed with the tangle free-ness of the cord. I don't know how standard it is these days, but it's nice and I want to point it out for such cheap headphones. Overall, these are my headphones of choice for workouts (good enough), and I will be buying these until something better comes along or they stop making them. My main concern is that they stay in place. I don't want to have to adjust my headphones on a run and these don't move. And they are cheap. I can replace these every few months and not worry too much about it because I can't find "good" quality headphones even at a more expensive price point with the features listed above. For the company, if you read this, make the cord shorter (maybe by a little over a foot), see if you can make the plastic around the ears a little more pliable, maybe slightly thicker padding for the ears, and adding more bass would be a bonus, if it didn't cost too much extra. Otherwise, I don't really care about the bass. UPDATE: After ordering these a couple of times to replace broken ones, they just don't last very long. A couple of months each, maybe. Everything in my review is still true (with the exception of always buying them), and I know they are cheap, but I was just replacing them a little too often. This expedited my search for a new headset, of which, I have found. And believe it or not, my new headset is wireless (lol) which I have also reviewed.

This listing is now selling garbage.
I bouth Headphones from this Amazon listing twice before. Back then they were fine. What arrived today doesn't match the Amazon listing. They are of a similar style (behind the head), but the product was manufactured differently. The sound, when it works, is much deeper and sounds terrible. Audio constantly cuts out or is completely gone unless you very carefully hold the plug into the jack in exactly the right position for proper contact. The plastic for the around the head part is also much thicker, tighter, and rougher than before. These are quite painful to wear and I have a small head.

These are OK, but for a few more bucks, the Sony is more comfortable & durable.
These headphones are OK, but I prefer the Sony version for just a couple more $. Here's why: 1.) These headphones have a straight plug. Sony's has a right-angle plug. In my experience, the right angle plugs are more durable. 2.) These are not comfortable for more than half an hour or so, even after stretching them out a bit. Sony's are comfortable for hours. 3.) The cord on this one is too long for my taste...keeps getting snagged on stuff as I move around. If you like a longer than normal cord on your headphones, you'll like this 4.) Sony sound is better. Here's the link to the Sony headphones: https://smile.amazon.com/Sony-Street-MDRG45LP-Stereo-Headphone/dp/B00165R90C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1510945747&sr=8-3&keywords=behind+neck+headphones Okay, reporting back after using them for a little less than 2 months: Between the overly long cord, which gets caught in everything, and the straight plug (as opposed to the 90 degree angle plug, which is more durable,) these phones wore out after a little less than 2 months. They wore out at the place where the wires attach to the plug...again, the 90 degree plug on the Sonys has always lasted a year or 2, even for someone as hard on headphones as I am. Off to buy the Sony tor replace this.

Okay Sound, Cord Too Dang Long
I purchased these since I was in a pinch for behind the neck headphones, and this was the cheapest one at the time. It is the epitome of you get what you pay for. The sound quality is mediocre with barely any lower range but it is good enough to get you through life until you can afford something better. The real down side is the 6 foot long cord. Oh god, the cord! It has given me nothing but grief by getting snagged on everything and anything. Ultimately, it contributed to me loosing my MP3 player. That is the real buyer beware: not the sound quality, durability, or longevity which is serviceable but the dang cord!

I knew this type of headphones is rare (probably they aren't even manufactured) and checked them as soon as they arrived. Of course - the product was defective! I suspect the company just sends out its defective products in a hope that nobody will notice. Stay alert with this seller! Returning tomorrow.

Stopped working in both ears less than a year after purchase (purchased Oct 2024 - it's now May 2025). I have to turn the audio jack to get sound to emit from both sides, otherwise it only comes out of the left. Over time, the discomfort the rigid plastic caused my ears abated as it bent to fit my head.

I use these headphones at night to watch TV. They are great light weight, comfy. I can't wear the big headphones ,they are always falling off and hurt my ears. These neckband head phones are ideal. Hard to find and when I went to order a second set it was hard to find them again and double in price.
