Simple easy to use great printer
Great black and white printer, if you need a very dependable, and reliable printer this is the one, this printer does just one thing it prints, no scanner, no copier and no color, it’s simple, and plug and play. For home use or office use this is a great printer, you will really glad you got it when you first use it, and see how ready good it is.

Great printer !!
This is the current model of what I had before. I have had the prior model for 10+ years and used generic print cartridges, we'll see how goes with the new mandatory hp .. but do live the printer .

Only worked for 15 months
Worked ok at first. Printed fast, but the toner smudged. Had to reduce the pages per minute to fix that issue. Now after 15 months of moderate usage, the paper only feeds halfway into the printer and then stops... I'm switching to Brother printers

Wireless printing from any room
Once the printer was installed onto my phone I was able to uninstall the HP printer app and never have to use Bluetooth my documents print wirelessly from any room in the house. This product claims not being wireless - just means the printer has to be located within 4 ft of the router for the cable. Today for a smart device a Bluetooth ID would be listed anywhere on the label or the box or else Bluetooth would scan for nearby devices and find a product ID. Through the ethernet, the Bluetooth- product ID was actually provided by the hpSmart app, and not Bluetooth but the Bluetooth still had to be enabled. I did connect it with and through my Android and I enabled Bluetooth, so WindowsOS and MacOS are definitely not required as it says on the box. The reduced price is fair. This is not a $450 LaserJet with a color touch screen.The measurements on the tray are off because the 8 x 11 paper measures 14. Not a lot of options like printing directly from a jumpdrive. No color ink. The USB connection was hidden by a plug so I spent at least twenty minutes looking for a different kind of USB cable I thought I needed. But I think maybe the printer could have been set up without the USB connection to my Android phone, and with just the ethernet just to do the Wi-Fi connect install of the printers module to the mobile device or any computer.

HO Quality and Value Again!
Got this installed by my IT guy yesterday! It works so smoothly and quickly! There doesn’t seem to be any lag time communicating with my AIO computer (also an HP!). It takes my checks the same way my last printer did and though my old non-HP one served me well for 13+years, it is nice to be up with technology and a good working model! This is just black and white, which is all I need since I have a big color copier when needed for that. It is a nice compact size and has the functions you would basically need for everyday printing!
