The smokiness is exceptional. I barely notice it’s not real dried, salty animal flesh. You can always get what you want but this product is certainly in the ballpark. I usually eat a whole bag in one sitting because I care about my health. I’m glad the bag isn’t bigger; I wouldn’t want to save money buying in bulk. That’s Scandinavian socialism which neither slakes my hunger nor satisfies my “America First” mentality. USA! USA! USA!

This stuff is really really yummy! Great alternative for those of us who do not like to eat meat. My favorite is the teriyaki and then the barbecue flavor. I do not like the black pepper flavor...It was so gross I threw it in the trash.

I have been a vegetarian for 31 years and one of the things I missed were Slim Jims (I realize that they only half count as meat). Well, these almost hit the mark. The main thing I liked about Slim Jims were the flavoring and these are pretty close. They are chewy and not tough. I like the way they are rolled so the pieces are thicker. They have the fake sugar taste just a tiny bit, but don't leave much of an after taste. The only con is that they are nearly impossible to get. The are often sold out because apparently, I am not the only one that loves them! Kudos to Noble Jerky!

Nobel has the best texture and taste for vegan jerky. But beware this is No sugar Added but it does contain Erythritol which isnt always ideal for many people's health. I wish they will just have Zero Sweetners!

This is one of the few sugar free vegan jerky products. My favorite that I've tried.

This one wins the prize for the worst vegan jerky I have tried. They are chewy, but the taste is chemical, the texture is more like cardboard than beef jerky, and they contain sugar alcohols, which messed with my guts. Look elsewhere for your snacks.

Great, tough texture. And the sugar free version is very tasty. Not lacking in taste.

These are really good! Been vegetarian for 13 years now and I still eat a lot of "meat-like" products from different companies,these taste great...without the guilt...you know what I am talking about!

They taste good. The fact they're big thick strips and not the usual jerky shape means they're very difficult to eat, which kinda makes it more enjoyable, but if you eat a bunch in a single day your teeth will hurt and you'll feel like your teeth are coming loose. They'll feel fine again the next day. (Or a couple days later) All of this is avoidable if you just have self control and don't eat the entire bag in one sitting like me

On its own or in split pea soup.. it's delicious!!
