Something like this was recommedned by my mothers physio. You can safely help someone up off the floor without hurting their shoulders. Gives you a firm grip in various positions. This has been a great tool to help get my Mum up from the floor when she has fallen over. She is unable to get up by herself and as long as we knew she was not hurt this was very useful. Myself and my daughter managed to get her up.

Oh my it's so really helpful, I'm 5.2 and my husband is 5.11.he weighs 13 stone,and is really hard to move,and lift out of the chair and bed,also hard to make him feel secure walking,as his mobility is very poor.its been a life changer for me.Only a down side,the connecting strap loosen,so it turns on the body, I've tried to adjust it,but it still happens.maybe I'm doing something wrong,it needs to be able to turn,so you can turn it from front to back with the handles,but if to loose,you loose some of your grip. I'm not returning it, as l can't do with out it,so it's the case of adjusting it each time l use it. It's really strong and great handles.l may contact the supplier to see if they can advise me,about the strap..
