We enjoy this workbook because it has large text making it easier for my preschooler to trace over.

I wish the two five star ratings would have left descriptive justifying evaluations. I will do so. Giving the lie to the cover, there isn’t a single touch of color in the entire book (see photos). The few, quite repetitive illustrations present are always gray. Most pages are devoid of interest-raising picture (see photos). This quickly spells “chore to be done” and “boring to tears.” Some exercises are ill-conceived and misleading. See photo of page where the child is asked to count 5 cherries. Actually one should count 5 pairs because 10 cherries are depicted! Fundamental flaw: gender is a major, omnipresent, linguistic feature in Spanish; it is omitted in this exercise book. The impression given is that in Spanish gender doesn’t matter anymore than in English; that is utterly false. How 5 stars could be awarded to this right-out -of-the-50s impersonal production leaves me wondering. Their absence of justification ought to be noted. That purchase was for my 3 year old granddaughter. I wondered if I would inflict it on her. I didn’t wish on her the disappointment that was mine, I finally returned the volume and was refunded.
