This stuff goes a long way, only need a small amount mixed well into hands and put into dry hair. Gives a volumised, strong, matt hold. Hair initially has texture like a salt spray, but this goes after fixing the style. Think this is my new go to! Smells nice too.

Very effective hold, matte finish. Only negatives - it dries very quickly on your hands so you need to apply it fast and also it’s quite expensive for what it is. Smells great.

Smells good, little goes a long way. Very strong hold. However I find it very dry and hard to apply, almost pulls my hair out.

Good hold, difficult to apply into dry hair so I would recommend some mildly damp hair for a good matte finish or some moderate damp hair for a semi matte finish. The smell is my favourite thing about it. If I could get an aftershave or something with this smell I would!

Its quite hard, but that's normal for a clay with super strong hold. The main thing to do is to rub it together and warm it up inbetween your hands to apply it so it doesnt clump up in your hair. I have thick straight hair and it gives me great texture when used. It holds my hair for a quite a long time, i would say the texture starts to die down after around 6 hours, but still great product overall for long lasting texture and hair styling. It gives my hair a matte finish, not shine so more of a dry look rather than wet which is exactly what I like. However it builds up very quickly in your hair, meaning you might have to frequently wash it out of your hair, especially if you have thinner hair too, as the product build up will start showing alot after a few days of use. It could also potentially make your hair look greasy if you have way too much build up, and it is quite hard to wash out if you only use water. My hair has very low porosity, meaning it holds water in, so i dont have to shampoo as much as someone with high porosity as their hair becomes greasier way faster, however i needed to shampoo alot more frequently to get most of this product out my hair, as only after a few days it would clump my hair up even though i was using the correct amount (around a 50p coin amount). And for the smell, it smells very artificial, a very artifical citrusy scent. Overall i would say this product is good if your only going to be using it for special occasions rather than your daily styling clay, as the build up will catch up to you quick. And as for hair types, people with more thicker hair that want some texture should use this and properly by rubbing it together and making it warm with their palms and patting it into their hard, followed by scrunch motions.

Best hair product I have found. I have short, very fine hair... many products can leave my hair looking slightly greasy (even those claiming to be matte) or are too heavy, look clumpy etc. This seems to make my hair look thicker and fuller, provides great hold and is a truly matte finish. Love the scent too, kind of a masculine floral/lavender scent, hard to describe but nice. The product is very hard in consistency and you need to dig your finger in a bit but a little goes a long way and this pot should last many months.

Ich hab das STMNT Dry Clay jetzt seit ein paar Wochen in meiner täglichen Routine, und wenn man auf der Suche nach einem Produkt ist, das für ultra matten, trockenen Halt sorgt, ist man hier genau richtig. Halt und Look: Das Dry Clay macht genau das, was es verspricht – es gibt einen extrem trockenen, matten Look. Im Vergleich zu Pasten, die oft einen leicht glänzenden oder feuchteren Look haben, ist dieses Produkt wirklich trocken. Also wenn man auf diesen natürlichen, strukturierten "Out of Bed"-Look steht, ohne dass die Haare fettig oder glänzend wirken, dann wird man hier fündig. Es sorgt für einen festen Halt, aber die Haare bleiben trotzdem formbar. Anwendung: Im Vergleich zu Pasten, die oft cremiger sind, ist das Dry Clay etwas fester in der Konsistenz, was aber normal für ein Clay-Produkt ist. Man muss es in den Händen gut verreiben, um es auf Temperatur zu bringen, bevor man es in die Haare einarbeitet. Aber wenn es einmal drin ist, lässt es sich richtig gut verteilen und sorgt sofort für den matten, trockenen Look. Für das Ergebnis braucht man wirklich nur eine kleine Menge, das macht das Produkt sehr ergiebig. Duft: Der Duft ist auf jeden Fall mal was anderes – geht in die holzig-maskuline Richtung mit Lavendelanteilen und ist schon ziemlich präsent. Nichts für jeden, weil er echt kräftig rüberkommt. Wenn man auf markante Düfte steht, dann passt das auf jeden Fall. Aber ich sag mal so: Wer eher auf was Dezentes steht, für den könnte es vielleicht ein bisschen zu viel sein. Trockener Effekt: Weil es wirklich ein Clay ist, fühlt sich das Haar nach dem Auftragen trocken und griffig an, was den großen Unterschied zu cremigen Pasten ausmacht. Die Haare behalten diese raue Textur und lassen sich dadurch super formen, ohne dass man ständig nachstylen muss. Auswaschen: Trotz des trockenen Finishs lässt sich das Dry Clay überraschend leicht auswaschen. Mit normalem Shampoo bekommst du es schnell und rückstandslos raus. Da hatte ich bei anderen Clays schon ganz andere Erfahrungen, aber das hier wäscht sich super easy aus. Preis-Leistung: Das Clay liegt zwar preislich etwas höher, aber für ein hochwertiges Clay-Produkt mit starkem, mattem Halt ist der Preis völlig okay. Fazit: Wenn man auf der Suche nach einem richtig matten und trockenen Styling-Produkt ist, das starken Halt bietet, ist das STMNT Dry Clay perfekt.

He likes to put his hair back but he hates gel and sticky stuff that makes his hair greasy. However, you don't need much of this product to keep his hair in place for the entire day and without it getting greasy! He likes it and so do I. We recommend this!
