Really impressed with this jig. Currently building a toy box without screws, this jig has done me right on my joinery. Absolutely would buy again

Not great but a lot better than expected for the price. They could have done a lot better job centering it, it was not even close to being centered. I had to adjust the calibration nut (the nut under the two allen screws) close to one full turn CCW to center it but it’s within .002” now.

Work

Used to make wooden countertops. It works really well for centering dowels. My only complaint would be the indexing marks are difficult to see. I had to use a flashlight to be sure I was lined up correctly.

The item looked scratched and scuffed, as if already used and returned (please refer pics). The packaging box is original but the plastic wraps are all open packets. Haven't used the item as I just received it. Would probably update regarding the function once I use the dowel to make few holes. Update: The seller reached out and offered me to resend the item or full refund. Since I need this, I opted for the item. The new tool is definitely better and doesn't seem to have as bad of an alignment issue. However, please be very careful and ensure the alignment is correct after every few uses. I felt that the alignment slightly shifts after every few uses. Overall the quality of tool is well built and heavy. Apart from realignment, this will last long.
