great for a refurb, I do not see any wear on this.

Of the 7 Apple computers that I own, this 21.5R iMac may be the best all around, absolutely spoiled by the Retina display, after using them long term. The computer came in half the time I was expecting, was packed really well. It booted right up (in Monterey, YEA!) I ran diagnostics, and first aid check, updated to 16.1. This computer is such a bargain (as configured) I am super happy.

Seems to be working excellently screen is excellent keyboard is good Just one problem it has a tiny scratch mark right by apple logo once you notice it you always notice it

Check your OS. Mind was shipped with Catalina and will not upgrade. Although the computer is working ok, Many apps I can't download due to the OS. If your getting one be sure it will upgrade otherwise you will be stuck with a non upgradable computer. If I could send it back I would

The computer out of the box looks great but once you start using it the processor does show its age. It tends to run very slow and accumulates heat at an alarming rate. Something is definitely not right with this IMAC but due to my need I decided to just put up with the nuances until I could purchase a brand new one.

This is the second of these refurbished Mac systems I've owned over the years. Comes with OS X Monterey pre-installed. As long as you have Time Machine backups on an external drive, migrating your old files over is a snap. The 16GB ram makes a big difference. The only limitation is the 256GB SSD onboard drive. I use a large capacity external for storage and back ups so this presents no problems for me.
