I intentionally sought out the Carlon B114R-UPC switch/outlet box because the new grey boxes sold at Lowe's and other stores aren't as good as this blue box. This box is tried and true, and those grey boxes can be hit or miss. Anyway, what I like best out this box is that whether you have a stud nearby or not, this thing connects so quickly and securely to your drywall by anchoring down with the two "wings" that flip up when tightening. Makes wiring electrical for a new outlet so versatile and simple. Highly recommend this box to anyone looking for an old faithful box design and box maker. Can't go wrong here and highly recommend it.

Amazingly easy to add to an existing wall. Quality construction. Sturdy. Added an electrical outlet to a wall and a dual Ethernet outlet to another wall.

Works as advertized. Very solid construction and extremely easy to install. Will purchase again when needed.

Really well designed unit. I found everything in the other 5 star reviews to be true. Really no reason to buy any other box. The ears work great, spin out and then screw down and tighten against the wall panel. Definite 5 star product.
