Works well. Has exactly the same thread for the fixture to screw on properly. Ball chain is rather short, had to use original ball chain to extend the length. Bought a spare "just in case", but appears I'll not be needing it in a hurry.

I bought this light switch to replace a broken one in a 30-year-old ceiling fan. Installing the new switch took around 12 minutes. The new switch works very well. When pulling the chain, it feels smooth with a nice click. Hope it'll last a long time

We have a sign on the front of our business. It is a line of LED lights that form our wireframe logo in red, white and blue LED lights. It's beautiful! Everyone loves it! We are so happy we had it made. Every morning, we go to the sign, pull the string, and the sign lights up. It's glorious! Well, the other day, we got to work, pulled the string, and nothing happened. At first we thought we might have to get a new sign made. Then one of my people came to me and told me what had happened. I knew right away it was the switch. We have pulled that switch a zillion times over the years! No question it was the switch. I just knew it. I went to Amazon and searched for a pull string type switch. I think I literally found the one the original sign manufacturer used when making our sign! I'm serious! It looked identical! So, I ordered one. When it came, I opened the sign and sure enough, it was the exact same switch as the one I ordered. I connected the wires, hit the power, pulled the string, and BAM! Those glorious LED lights all lit up and shone again! I was so happy! I closed up the sign, remounted it to our business, and we're back to seeing it every morning like usual. This is a good switch. But after another million or so yanks on the string, it too will likely fail. But now we know where to get a replacement!
