Wish I had these the day before!
Heater blew it's pressure valve and flooded the basement bedroom. If I had these then would have saved a lot! We'll be ready next time. Arrived the next morning, we were still drying out. Easy set up. They announce with the location you set in the app. Easy to add to Alexa, but I have not figured out to use there yet. They have a drip warning on top and a flood warning on the bottom, as well as a temperature warning. Best is they are waterproof, so they'll survive if under water. I got the silent sensors, as I want to have the announcement from the hub (and see in the app and have Alexa announce). The announcement can be set to repeat. I have been testing for over week now, with no false alarms and the warnings are quick (one drop and it goes off).

An ounce of prevention!
Twice now, I have had dishwasher problems that caused water damage in my kitchen. (Thanks, Kitchenaid - NOT!) Water issues are so costly and inconvenient and often you don't realize damage is occurring until it is too late. If these devices work as they should, I will receive and audible alarm plus a notification on my phone, so that I can stop water intrusion and clean up before damage occurs. I have placed an alarm under my dishwasher, in my corner cabinet by the hoses and under my kitchen sink. I had a little trouble with the initial configuration (probably on my end) but their tech support was amazing! Best technical support ever. I did not feel rushed and Mike stuck with it until everything was finished and tested. They worked perfectly and I have more peace of mind. Whatever you pay for these will be well worth it - an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I wish I'd have done this after my KitchenAid dishwasher failed me the first time! Then a new one failed in a different way. Hopefully there will not be a next time, but if there is, I am ready!

Easy to use
This system was fairly easy to set up. Given the configuration of my home, I particularly like the dual sound and text features should water be detected. Would definitely recommend.

Worth it!
Added a few of these around the house after different leaks. Dishwasher, clothes washer, fridge, kids toilets, HVACs, etc. Range works great except for one in a metal leak pan for HVAC in the attic. I think the metal pan is deflecting the signal too much from time to time. Once every few weeks it looses signal and I can go up and hit the button or last time I let it be and it came back on its own in a day or two. App uses IFTT to make alarms. Its very simple programing but I can see someone who is new to it cursing a little. In its base form, once you add the device (super simple, scan QR code on phone) it will generate a notification on phone when it goes off. More advanced, like speaker going off, requires IFTT. Not hard, but if you don't program it may take some time to figure out. I've already had it go off once (outside testing). Kids got ice from freezer, dropped ice and left it.. Alarm went off as it melted. Then it just became a conversation with the kid drinking ice water.. I bought the regular hub and speaker hub. It was actually cheaper going this route vs buying extra sensors. Do it, it will save you larger bills fixing floors and ceilings from water repair/stains.

Best protection from water leaks
Water leak sensors are quick and easy to setup and have excellent range and battery life. The SpeakerHub is very useful, besides using with the YoLink automatic water valve shutoff, I also use it for my Homey Pro Mini home automation flows.

Worked first day
This product is amazing. I have rental units and a history of boiler and water meter leaks. As any homeowner knows undetected water leaks are a nightmare, and one cannot rely on a tenant to notify of water issues. These devices worked the first day they were installed when my boiler puked water through the relief valve. Set up was a little tricky making sure the alerts were set up correctly but I am happy with how well everything connected having my hub in a boiler room and one of the sensors in a crawl space.

Detected 2 water drops leaking under my sink
This is a great product. Easy to setup and it already detected a couple of drops of water that leaked under our kitchen sink and we were able to get the plumber in time to fix it. It has already paid for itself. I plan to add more sensors and also an auto shutoff valve from the same company.

It all works now, but it took a while to figure out.
It took a while to figure out how to get alarms for water leaks in our RV. There are a lot of options for each leak detector and it got quit confusing. The leak detectors work well as does the speaker hub.
