ECO-WORTHY 100W 12 Volt Solar Panel Monocrystalline 100 Watt Solar Module for Battery Charging

Product as described. Still working several years after purchase

Very happy with this purchase. The delivery was very quick, the product well packaged and build quality excellent. I have upgraded from two much smaller 20 watt panels, that could not keep up with the demands of a newly installed Dometic fridge. My battery bank is 135 amps and so far this single panel is keeping up well with the demands of the fridge, never letting the voltage drop below 12.6. I will be adding a second panel soon (At this price, you would be mad not to!) As can be seen from the pics , i have permanently installed the panel and hinged it, so i can open the roof top tent. This needed a bit of fabrication work to make a frame, which was scavenged from a child's broken metal bed! (I love upcycling!). Anyway, it's working very well, is a great bit of kit and I'm super pleased with it in all respects.

It serves my purpose to charge a 12 v battery but not that efficient, takes 3 days in better sunshine for a full charge ( 12.8v 30 ah battery)

This eco-worthy 100w solar panel is great for smaller solar setups. I ordered this panel to charge an 80ah SLA battery. Connecting to a charge controller saw me get around 70w from the panel on a winter blue sky afternoon. My panel placement is not great so i was happy with this yield. I went back onto Amazon to order another one to run in parallel but it appears as though EcoWorthy are no longer selling this panel which is a great shame. The price difference from the 100w to the newer 120w one is not justifiable for me. I hope they reintroduce the 100w one again at the same sort of price - i paid £75. Quality wise, i can definitely tell the difference between my more expensive branded solar panels. The aluminium frame is a lot thinner and flimsier than my other panels. On the plus side however this does mean the panel is lighter and easier to move around. Would i recommend this solar panel to others - well if they had more stock then yes! I feel it is great value at the price i paid and i definitely want to order more!! I hope that you found my review helpful

Purchased a 100 w solar panels from Eco worthy to power a 300amp solar generator with 500 watt capabilities aboard my boat...The panel has performed well on winter overcast days averaging 10-15% charge with zero sun ...Overcast days it gives an average of 70% full recharge with the panel operating at 57 watts ...If I plug my solar generator into the mains it can only draw 59 watts which is it's max ... Yesterday in February sunshine ,and sun still low on the horizon the panel drew 91watts for a few seconds which I didn't think possible..but was averaging 59% to 79% most of the day...worth mentioning the first day I installed it on top of my boats canopy the Atlantic winter gusts blew it clean off the roof where it landed on the gang planks ripping the Anderson connector out of the solar generator as it took flight ...there was only minimum damage and the cables were so strong I reinstalled it the next day with no problems or disconnections..I would advise an Anderson adapter to MC4 connecters fir this if powering a solar generator and that needs to purchased separately...A marvelous sturdy panel which deserves nothing but the best review.

I have six of these now, bought on three different occasions, as I gradually increased the system we have. I have proved they are capable, when facing exact south, of exceeding their 100w capacity by 10w or so if angled correctly and they have a full load, however as with most people, I could not get a mounting at due south, without obstruction, so picked as near as possible. They have produced good quantity of power throughout the year, and this year as energy prices have risen further with more to come, I took the opportunity of buying this sub £60 on Amazon, which is the cheapest they have been for a while(previously I paid less than £50) currently the normal price is £85. In summary well made, easy to handle and produce what they say. I had no issues with the connectors, just make sure you use the right tool.

This the third ECO- worthy 100W 12v panel I have ordered. The first was part of a kit and arrived with panel mounting brackets. The second was to add to the system, this panel arrived without any mounting brackets. Contacted Amazon who replace the item. The replacement arrived without brackets too. I contacted ECO Worthy UK and sent them an image of the Amazon order, they could not find the order, which is absolute garbage. So please do not order a panel from ECO Worthy

Good product as I have another one which works well, bought directly from Ecoworthy. This solar however does NOT include the brackets shown in the photos… it’s just a solar panel… buyers be warned, you have to spend a further £10-£20 to buy Z brackets.

Función bien desde que lo instalé, no había instalado ninguna placa solar en la vida pero es un sistema sencillo. La única pega es su robustez, es un tanto débil, hay que amarrarlo bien con soportes adecuados o con lo que construyas tu mismo.

Ich benutze zwei dieser Solarzellen auf meinem Wohnmobil, um auch mal autark etwas machen zu können, ohne dass in Kürze die Bordbatterien leer sind. Dies funktioniert in Kombination mit einem Solarladeregler auch problemlos! Im Sommer braucht man im Normalfall keinen externen Stromanschluss und im Winter verhindert der Laderegler die Entladung der Batterien. Völlig brauchbar, diese Zellen!!!

Al momento non sono soddisfatto delle prestazioni, ma la cosa che più mi ha urtato è stato scoprire che il coperchio della scatola di giunzione era semiaperta con la guarnizione che tagliava in diagonale la scatola stessa, per fortuna non ha piovuto altrimenti addio all'impermeabilità... Comunque al momento la corrente massima che il pannello eroga con il sole che picchia al massimo (ore 13:30 del 30/09/2019) è di 1,4 Ampere --------- Aggiornamento Recensione (ore 10:45 02/10/2019), a causa della batteria già carica, ovviamente il modulo fotovoltaico non poteva erogare più potenza. Dopo aver scaricato la batteria giusto quanto basta, oggi ho potuto apprezzare una corrente di carica di 4,8 ampere quindi presumo dato l'orario e la stagione che il modulo funziona perfettamente.

Montato su una pilotina di circa 7 metri , ha dato energia X gestire il mantenimento di carica X due batterie da 80 amp anche durante le lunghe soste invernali dove tra nuvole e brutto tempo di sole c'è ne poco, ho trovato le batterie sempre pronte e in forma, ottimo investimento tenendo conto che mediamente dopo ogni inverno di sosta sempre qualche batteria si perdeva a causa della scarica eccessiva.
