I love this book. Reading letters and memoirs is my favourite kind of reading.I hope there are many more of these books to buy on Amazon. The writers of the letters use eloquent language to convey their feelings.The letters mean something,and have passed down the generations. Sending a text or an E mail just doesn’t cut it. If I have any criticism,it would be to say that there aren’t enough letters in this volume.I see there is a second volume ! That’s double bubble.x

This book is so much better than Love letters of great women. These letters are actually beautiful and very touching. The odd letters are a little dull but overall I enjoyed this book. I also appreciate how the history of each man comes after the words they've written

The book has great lettering and spacing - some pages are blank but they serve as a break between the letters and the longer letters are back to back on the pages - arrived quicker than expected

As title states, we were watching the movie and wanted to get ourselves these books. Loved them, may it be prop or prize.

The book is small and elegant. I bought it because of Carrie. me and her have very similar personalities so I figured if she liked the book so would I ;) I also want to include some of the poems in my blog. It arrived on time very quick. Very happy

Sex and the City fans will love it. Best read with a Cosmopolitan cocktail in hand a Manolos on the feet.

If only we didn’t have internet, we to could receive such romantic letters. Sigh. A beautiful book to enjoy on a cloudy Sunday afternoon.

Muy interesante

When i first bought this book, I bought it after being heavily influenced by the Sex & The City Movie. However, now that I’ve read it, i’m glad I have it. This book delves deep into letters famous men have written to their significant others, and the words they’ve used to describe their yearning transports you straight into their hearts. I love this book. a 10/10 from me!

映画1でキャリーが読んでた物語が、ないかなーってAmazon探してたら 検索ヒットした本。 洋書なんですが、短い手紙集なので英語の勉強にもできます。 なんと言っても偉人たちが思いっきり格好つけてかいているので、 短くとも中級向けです。 おもしろいよ。
