Initial impressions are good. It does look good, big-ish but not in an unsightly way. Everything works as expected and isn't overly sensitive to movement close to it but not purposeful. I did have a concern that the smallest output setting would be too much handwash but it isn't, it delivers a good sized amount without overdoing it. The version i got has small foam feet on the base as well with is great. Some of the alternatives i'd seen hadn't got this and other reviewers noted that it could slip about, this doesn't and seems a bit more planted. Very pleased and time will tell if it's longer term reliable. If it does falls apart or gives up in the coming weeks / months i'll update the review.

Initially this was a good product, working well and doing what I had expected. However it has now developed two issues which mean I am going to have to return it. The first issue is rust. There is now a small but growing rusty patch around the product where it attaches to the base. See photos attached for the size and location. Secondly, the soap now dispenses seemingly at random, and the length of dispense varies every time. I came home yesterday to an empty soap dispenser (filled two days ago) and floor and sink covered in soap. Overall not happy so will be returning. I have a simple human dispenser which has not had either of these problems.

This works well ... while it works. I had one for around 3 months before soap started leaking through the bottom and the manufacturer sent a replacement in good time. This new one worked for around another 3 months until it just stopped, changed the batteries and still nothing, no idea what happened. Real shame as it looks nice and functions quite well - the amount of soap which comes out fluctuates sometimes even on the same setting - just it breaks quite a lot! Since posting this review the manufacturer has sent out another replacement, the customer service and sincerity I do believe is very high and I hope this third one works for a while, if so then no complaints.

A very nice soap dispenser which works well and looks good (as much as a soap dispenser can!). I put the batteries in, filled it with liquid soap, switched it on and it worked first time. No problems with spurious triggering and the quantity dispensed was easily adjusted to the amount I wanted. Overall, a good product.

Received item 25th Feb 2017. Stopped working 5th April 2017. It was working fine, but then just decided to give in. Changed batteries, added soap, but nothing happens. This items needs to be withdrawn from sale as there is no longevity in the item at all. I purchased based on positive reviews, but the item has not lasted at all. It has been really useful, easy for kids to use etc and nice feature to have in the kitchen, but an expensive soap item to say the least. Stick with the plastic bottles that the soap comes in is my advice. After having asked for a full refund things have now gone quiet. I was offered a replacement, but given other comments I welcomed a refund to which I have heard nothing since.

It arrived on time, and this automatic soap dispenser is perfect, just what I was looking for. Unlike other dispensers, with this one I can use my own soap. Plus having the option of three soap settings is very good. The only thing to watch out for is that it can sometimes dispense soap when not required if something moves near it. I'm very satisfied with this product and recommend it.

I bought this soap dispenser the 29th of January. Six months later and it has started to get empty by itself. A bit spooky to hear the sound and see the light goes on even when I am sitting pretty far from it. Furthermore the compartment for the batteries is getting rusty even though no water is being splashed on it. I give it 2 stars because it was good to start with and nice looking. Update Oct., 2017: The seller has contacted me, and we are finding out a solution. As I understand it there is an updated version that will be available soon.

I have only had this for a week, so I can't comment on it's durability. Although the three stars I have given this product are due to it's ease of use. I don't have the problem of another reviewer with it being set off all the time. The beam only seems to activate when your hand is close to the product (pretty much like in the product picture). This is very practical to use - no more mucky soap dispenser to clean, as there is no need to touch it!. It lost a couple of stars for me due to it's strange colour. It looks a nice steel colour in the picture, but it has a strange nicotine yellow tinge to it which is not attractive. The second issue I had was that the dispenser had water in it when it arrived. Perhaps someone decided not to keep it and tried to rinse it out before sending back?? It still worked well though. If it hadn't been for the hassle of returning it and Amazon's expensive return postage costs, I would have sent it back for the last two reasons. Overall, I like the idea of the dispenser and will look out for a better looking product that doesn't clash with the other steel and chrome products I have in my kitchen.
