I tried it on my Samsung wireless quick charger and it did not work. I then tried directly to the phone with the Samsung charging cable and still didn't work. I then decided to read the listing again and because it says it is a quick charger I thought it would be but as I read on I noticed it says "Not Compatible With Qualcomm" This bit should have been more clearly printed on the header but not everyone would see it and like many of us thought it was a qualcomm quick charger but we are wrong. This is a 27W 4 port charger and will allow you to have 4 phones/tabs on charge at the same time without losing power. But when I realised it was not a quick charger and although it did say it was, I knew there were a lot of people reading this wrong. I did have an email from Anker apologising for the confusion and they did say they are going to forward the messages to the powers that be. Let us all hope they can make the wording clearer and make us all realise in BOLT TYPE that it is not a quick charger for the Samsung S8 etc. The charger itself is a darn good charger for charging more than one phone and up to 4 phones without losing power so for that and for the kindness of Anker sending me a replacement (after I sent it back) that will be a fast charger for my Samsung S8 and giving me my money back is and was a good gesture and very kind. I cannot fault Anker really and I do buy a lot of Anker products and I will carry on buying Anker products as it is one of the best brands on the market today. It is just a simple wording fault that needs changing so everyone can understand that this is not a Qualcomm Quick charger and just a powerful ordinary charger for ordinary phones. I must however say thank you to Anker for understanding and I hope they can now get this wording sorted out so all you buyers know it is not a Qualcomm QC. For all the quick help and understanding from Anker I will now give 5 stars and well done Anker, please keep up the fantastic after sales support. However since the total output power is 27W and it charges at 5V, the total A power to split is 5.4A. So if you plug 2 devices that charge at 2.4A, for another 2 ports there will be just 0.6A left to split (half needed to charge smartphone, but enough to charge things like apple watch, TV remote or to supply power to other appliance which requires just 0.5A in) **Q: Just to confirm the two adapters for this item are the uk and eu are the ones supplied? the image shows the us adapter.** A: The one I purchased came with a UK and EU adapter. Both in the box with the charger unit. Very good quality, easy to change from UK to EU if you need to. Clips in and out. **Q: Does it have fast charge capabilities just like the new plugs for the new samsungs?** A: It it's fast charging( for new models like Samsung S7 and S8 or older) . I'm using S7 and it's not taking more than 1 hour to fully charge. Usually I'm charging 2 mobiles, one headset and a power bank - all in the same time 🙈. My 4th Anker product at 5/5 *by A***R on 20 July 2017* This is my 4th Anker product all have been great and have stood the test of time, they are a brand I now trust, quality products at a reasonable price. (previously products were a portable battery, replacement lightning cable, Bluetooth travel keyboard) This charger is sleek but solidly built and all the 4 ports charge quickly. I originally bought it for travel in Europe to charge all my devices at once and occasionally some of my travelling companions devices without fights over the power socket! At 27 Watts output there is a lot to share between devices. I have had 4 items plugged in simultaneously and each charged quickly these were, iPhone (5W), iPad (12W), Apple Watch (5W), Kindle (5W). Some of my travel companions were also surprised by how fast it charged their devices. That said there is a limit and I suppose if you tried to charge 2 fullsize iPads and 2 top of the line phones simultaneously it MAY not charge each quite as quickly, but I haven't tested this. The easily changeable plug allows you to change between European and UK without fuss, my only minor complaint is that there is not an included attachment for USA or Australia, but those are cheap to purchase. I now use this as my default charger at home and have been very happy with it.
