King James Bible - Black Gift Edition

Purchased along with other religious texts in order to get a full understanding of our species history and to get all view points on all religions. It was an experience I would recommend to anyone who is curious about spirituality.

I bought this particular bible to keep as a reference. I am an avid reader and I used to read through a book and never cross check the real context of a bible reference. I no longer do that. The minute I read it in any book or hear a quote in a film, I check it out! The book is well constructed in its own slip on case and stands upright next to me bed for checking whilst I am reading and every now and again I will go through one of the books of the bible for self learning

Great Bible

Nice, but tiny! Font is quite small and paper quite thin. But I like the case and the silver edging on the pages. More of a pretty book to admire on the shelf or give as a gift, than a book suitable for regular/lengthy reading.

Nothing better on this earth

I love the language in the King James Bible, and usually read the Cambridge large print soft leather covered edition (which I purchased on Amazon some time ago) but decided to give the Kindle edition a go on this reading. Very convenient and just as practical as the paper edition, considering that the pages in the paper edition are so flimsy. Still haven't made up my mind as to which format I prefer, but I think there are a few typos in the Kindle edition.

Small enough to fit into my handbag and have a hard case to keep it good. I can read it with my reading glasses. My reading glass strength is about 2.5, if that is any help.

Thorough and an exceedingly well documented book. Very well written and can not be faulted. Everything from the past is written there with lots of stories of wisdom

Just what I was looking for. A clean, easy reading bible in a convenient size. No footnotes. This is one of several bibles in my collection, and this is the only one that I can easily pick up and carry out of the house with me as I go about my day. The text is VERY small - not in my opinion unreasonably small, especially considering that it's advertised as compact. DO consider keeping a magnifying glass or reading glasses with this book.

Excelente produto. É uma versão "de bolso" digamos assim, não é muito grande e não contém nada além das escrituras, excelente para manter o foco. Capa dura, a caixa em que vem para guarda-la está ok. Não chegou amassada e nem suja, tudo perfeito.

Just finished reading my favorite translation of the greatest book (I should say “Book”) ever written! I’ve read from and studied the Bible for my whole adult life, especially these last 15 years I’ve been in ministry. But this is the fastest I’ve read through the KJV from cover-to-cover, in order, word-for-word. Started September 5, 2022 and finished October 31, 2022. I encourage everyone to make the Bible a regular part of their life.
