Sturdy, proper case without the price tag to match
I don't usually review, and I definitely am not getting a kickback for this, I bought this case with my hard earned... but this is a really nice case for the money. I needed something sturdy to encase my S7 as my son is getting quite interested in my phone and the S7 is made of cheese basically (has been back to Samsung twice already, another story). Anyway, the phone went on the floor in this case recently and, of course, was unmarked. This is serious protection, not like the transparent gel things that seem popular. It seems properly designed and made insofar as the ports all match up nicely with the holes. The micro-USB and headphone sockets are covered by a flap, which wouldn't be my preference, but I imagine you could break them off if you really wanted to. The headphone port hole is much better than most, so you can actually plug most cables/headphones in if they aren't very bulky. I don't mind the screen protector, and it's not a design fault if fluff and dust eventually get inside the case - it's not that hard to pop the phone out and clean it out every few days. The front and back piece snap together really nicely and precisely. I was browsing cases at 3 or 4 times the cost of this, and I'm glad I didn't bother with them, because this does everything I need. The belt clip is a nice addition, although I haven't used it yet and it's really easy to remove. Maybe useful for running or using it on my bike. Wireless charging and NFC payments still seem to work with the phone in the case, albeit without the belt clip - I expect that would block it as it's metal. It also looks and feels quite nice for what it is - yes, it's bulky, but not ridiculously so, and has a nice texture around the outside plus some rubber bobbles on the back to keep the phone from sliding around.

At last, a case and screen protector that works for the S7!
Fantastic bit of kit. Ever since I got the S7, I've struggled to find a decent screen-protector/case combination. The Spigen case was excellent, but the curved screen edges ensured that normal screen protectors gave a halo effect because they did not adhere at the edges. The i-Blason is a 2-part case and fits perfectly. It does cope with tbe curved screen. The screen protector is not quite as slick as the phone's exceptionally slick screen, but it's not far off and is perfectly usable and I have noticed no loss of touch sensitivity. The side buttons (on-off, volume) are slightly less responsive than with the Spigen case, but the only likely consequence is that I will be less likely to operate them accidentally. The dust covers for the ports are a nice idea, but do make it less easy to plug the USB or headphones in one-handed; I might end up cutting them off if it proves to be too much of a hassle. I'm not entirely convinced about the security of the cradle/belt-clip, but that for me was an added bonus, not a deal-breaker. The case sides are very "grippy" - much more so than the very slick surface of the phone. Overall, a very rugged case and an excellent investment.

Reassuringly solid, but doubts about screen protection
This is a well made protective case. It feels solid and everything fits together perfectly, encasing the phone but still allowing it to be used as normal, although as you'd expect you lose the sleek, smooth look and feel of the bare phone. Some reviewers reported that it is difficult to remove it from the phone, but I haven't found this to be a problem (it seems easiest if you prise it apart at the top edge first, then work your way down). I like that it has a holster with a belt clip - personally I generally prefer this to carrying the phone around in my pocket, although that is still perfectly feasible. My one reservation, and the reason for only stars, is the screen protector. It comprise a sheet of thin plastic material, which after only four weeks already has a number of scratches. That is better than the phone itself being scratched but I was hoping for something a bit more resilient. Also, I doubt if it would protect the screen from smashing if it fell face down on a sharp stones, which is what finished of my last phone, but I guess that is a tall order for any phone case. Overall, this a good product and I am pleased with my choice.

Honest review
So far so good. Had a few minor drops, and received no damage. If I'm going to be honest, this case will definitely take some getting used to, as it can feel a bit bulky. And also with the flaps under some ports on the phone, it can be a bit of a ball ache to open them. But other than that, this purchase is worth it! Doesn't feel cheap, nor tacky, and definitely does the job. Trust worthy product. UPDATE: *04 MARCH 2019* Still using this very same case, from the very same order, and its still in great condition!! Had it since may 2017, and still to this very day of MARCH 2019, IT STILL IN PERFECT CONDITION. I HAVE NO REPLACED IT, BOUGHT A NEW ONE. ITS THE SAME CASE. It has lasted me for years. Many many drops, and my phone screen hasn't broken, no damage to my phone at all. The screen protector is scratched, but thats to be expected. But my phone is still in pristine condition because of this fantastic armoured case!! 100000% RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WITH AN EXPENSIVE PHONE! Its bulky, makes ya flashy phone look generic, but it does the job! It protects very well!! Id pay premium prices for this. 1000% worth a buy!

A great case with only a minor flaw
This case is great, it is essentially a case and a screen protector in one, and works wonderfully. It offers great protection for your phone, as well as a sharp look, and an added bonus cover for more rigorous environments, and the price is incredibly cheap compared to other available cases. The screen protector sticks to the phone amazingly, no bubbles whatsoever, and the application is instant. Both cameras are not uncovered, and the case does not decrease button or touch screen use. The only drawback to this case is a feature that is both useful and annoying. There are covers for both the power and headphone jacks, and while they provide dust protection for these areas, they are a pain to open unless you have long fingernails. I have to pry them open with a screwdriver or something similar when I want to charge my phone/plug headphones in. If these covers were easy to open, this would be the perfect case for the Samsung S7.

If you're looking for something that just wraps the phone you should probably look elsewhere but if you're looking for something
If your're after a case which is rather idiot proof, look no further. The case looks very clunky in the photos but is much more subtle in real life. If you're looking for something that just wraps the phone you should probably look elsewhere but if you're looking for something that should give excellent protection and look quite stylish in a rugged way, then this case is excellent. The camera and screen are well recessed, the buttons work precisely, the fit is very accurate and it has a built in screen protector. There is also a very resilient front cover which clips into place. I won't be using this everyday but it would be excellent for pretty much any activity where you'd regret taking a normal phone.

Perfect solution for complete protection of a valuable phone
The case is essentially in 3 parts - the rugged outer layer, the rubbery inside and the screen protector at the front. Plus the optional holster. The I-Blason is a rugged 360 degree case, comfortable to hold, slightly rubbery feel to the bumper round the screen that makes it secure in my hand. The cut out round the camera lens, flash and sensors is cut well back so will not impede their use. However a sliding cover would be on my wish list. That said the rear case has rubber blips that lift the back and together with the thickness of the case hold those sensitive parts clear by about 5mm. So they will be safe other than by a direct impact by it landing on a pebble for example. The blips help air to flow beneath the phone when NFC/wireless charging and so keep the phone cooler. It is suggested that the case should be taken off if you want to use the Samsung Fast Charge - I have always left it on with no ill effects as long as it is on a hard surface with good airflow. The holster is great and can be rotated to hold the phone securely vertically or horizontally. The phone, with screen facing inwards drops into 2 corner cups at one side and rests against 2 on the other. A secure clip easily opens and closes holding the phone. The belt clip is secure on my belt and can't be lifted off as there is a lip that would prevent this if someone were to try to grab it. The front of the case has generous cut outs for sensors, speaker and front facing camera. The Home button is cut out so finger print access etc., is not impeded. The soft keys are covered as part of the screen protector, but their function is not affected. Sensitivity of the screen is not reduced whatsoever and is just as smooth as the glass. All actions of keyboard, Swipe to form words, Zoom, Pinch etc., work perfectly well. However the swipe down for Notifications and Options only works in portrait mode due to the steeper angle of the bumper at the sides of the screen. As the Gorilla Glass screen is covered by the screen protector in exchange for the protection, it brings with it more easily seen finger marks and reflections. As far as robustness of the screen protector is concerned reviews on YouTube rate it highly. If I drop the phone on say gravel, I will add an update. The sides cover the Volume and Power keys completely and have new easily operated well aligned covers. Speaker grills top and bottom have cut outs, but the Headphone and Power/OTG sockets are covered by pull down covers which completely seal them. They are a little bit fiddly and may be impossible to lift if you have large fingertips or no fingernails as they are slightly recessed against the bumper round the screen. I envisaged cutting them off at some point, but even after 18 months still had not done so because I can hold the phone by the tab to insert the charger plug. The charging cable is not knocked out of line and charging takes place as normal. Although the case was relatively easy to put on with its removable dust cover, I found it hard to keep dust out so when assembled it was hard to tell which of the 3 surfaces had the dust particles on. But that was down to me. I lived with it and have never taken it off. The holster clip took a lot of punishment from me over 18 months of flexing it to retain and release my phone about 20 times a day. So eventually after approximately 22,000 flexes snapped off. I had no hesitation in buying a replacement immediately as I expect to keep the phone for another 18 months. I have reviewed my comments after 18 months use and can now give 5-stars. I would recommend this case highly and will definitely be buying one when I eventually get my next phone.

I opted for this case and I can honestly say that I am very happy with this case
So I got myself a brand new s7 and my wife wouldn't let me use it until I got myself a new case. I opted for this case and I can honestly say that I am very happy with this case. If you're looking for a case that doesn't affect the look and design of the phone then this isn't the case for you.If you are clumsy like myself and looking more for protection then look no further. The design of the case looks very slick and stylish, with an overall feel of quality. The phone fits perfectly in the case and all the holes are in the right places. The front screen protection isn't as thick as I expected but I can't see the screen getting damaged as the case looks so robust. I would test it but I'm not about the throw my phone around the room. I hope my feedback on this product helps you in choosing the right case for your brand new Samsung s7.
