Installation is quick and straightforward, and when removed correctly they’ve never damaged my walls. The only caution I’d give is to pay close attention to the weight limits. In my experience, if you overload them, the paint on a door or wall can fail before the adhesive does, which may leave marks or pull paint away when the hook comes off.
