Work as intended, no complaints.
Worked well while changing my rear brake pads. Nice and sturdy, even with large 21inch wheels, I felt safe on flat ground. I wouldn't trust them on a slope to hold back a vehicle, especially with large wheels, as they are not that big, but that's not what they are intended for. I didn't notice any kind of bad smell reported by others.

Perfect, and great size for storing in boot for your next tyre change.
I recently decided I would learn to do some basic car maintenance myself. My first job was to change the rear brake pads on my Ford Focus. I purchased all the tools I required including these chocks, as I read it is important to chock off the front wheels while the car is jacked up, or on Jack stands on the rear, (or vice versa). I did the work on my driveway, which is on a slight slope, so I placed the 2 chocks in front of the front tyres as the only way the car could roll was down the slight slope. If working on a level surface you would want to place a chock infront and behind one of your wheels, or purchase a 2nd set so you can chock in front and behind both wheels. The chocks are small, but do the job perfectly. I let the handbrake off and the chocks held the car in place securely, and I completed my first bit of maintenance knowing my car was secure and wouldn't roll. And because they are small, I recommend storing them in your car with your spare tyre, which is what I do now. That way the next time I get a puncture and need to swap to my spare, I can chock off the wheels for a safer wheel change, which was something I'd never considered before. Great product.

Chock on!
Stops car rolling when jacked up? ... check These are a great piece of kit for those who may not want to make their own chocks using wood cut at an angle etc etc. I fell into that camp, and so bought these. They are tiny, maybe a few inches high and wide, so bear that in mind, but the rubber is grippy, and can mould to the floors surface, so therefore they are safe. They function perfectly and do what's required to stop the car from rolling away. Would I buy these again? Yes.

Dinky small but hold a 2.5te 4x4 on a 10% grade
Wow! - really very small. I've bought these to stop my classic car rolling while stored with the parking brake off. To be sure I did a test with my Volvo XC60 - which is big and has large diameter tyres - so I suspected the car would just roll back over these little chock-ettes. Nope. Tarmac surface, 10% slope, 2.5te car, parking break off, clutch foot down and into neutral - holds fine. I moved the car 30cm up slope and let in roll back - and yes, right over the chocks and down slope - but then that well outside the design scope. These will do the job.

Indispensable for long stops
Leaving my MR2 for longer than 24hrs with the handbrake on, means jammed brakes. Usually they unstick but I prefer not to have them stick in the first place. Leaving the car in gear is an option but not one I am willing to take, for obvious reasons. This pair of chocks is a good solution and a pair is ideal. The size is large enough to do the job effectively but do not take up too much space. There is a hollow space within the chocks so it is easy to bore holes and connect them with a spare piece of rope. One behind a front wheel, the other in front of the back and the car is going nowhere. With the chocks connected it is the work of a moment to pick them up by the rope and stow them. I just hope the roaming brats don't make off with them!!

Very sturdy and grippy
These are great. Smaller than I thought but they definitely hold the car when it is sitting for a while unused! Great price for a great product!

A Strong Pong!
Like other reviewers I found these chocks to be a little smaller than anticipated though I have no reason to believe that they will not function OK - but, Phew! They are really 'whiffy'. I can't really describe the smell but I wouldn't choose to use it for aromatherapy! Hopefully this will fade in time but, at present, they are confined to my garage because I don't want this 'bouquet' in my car. Kind of defeats the object of the exercise really doesn't it?
