Philips 12496SVB2 PY21W Silver Vision, Indicator Bulbs with Silver Coating (2 x Bulbs)

Arrived exactly as described and within the delivery time expectation. Would definitely buy again. Perfect orange light when active and nice subtle silver when off, a nice clean & fresh look 👌

I ordered these to replace the standard "egg yolk" amber bulbs in the front of my newly purchased car. Whilst they aren't as silver looking as they used to be (legality issues) toey do look much better when fitted and are very silver when looked at end-on. These were easy to fit and, in all honesty, I don't think I could be happier with them. They flash a good deep amber, which is the important bit. Definitely recommended.

I changed the indicator lenses from orange to clear ones on my BMW E46 3 series, but wanted rid of the ‘fried egg’ look due to the normal orange bulbs. I ordered these Phillips Silvervision bulbs rather than go for the cheaper unknown ones as I suspect the Phillips ones might last longer, and their bulbs are good anyway. The bulbs arrived quicker than expected, as I thought they would arrive after Easter. They fitted straight into the front indicators, but not the rears. While the little pins on the side of the base of the bulbs are offset, the bulb socket on my car’s rear indicators will only take 180-degree-pin bulbs. The way I got around it was to file down one of the pins, and the bulb fitted into the socket without problems. Now the car has a cleaner look when the indicators are off due to the silver bulbs, but are orange as usual when working. They are a bit pricey, hence it loses a star, but I recommend them.

Philips silver version indicator bulbs look so much better than standard orange bulbs , they do have the silver affect but you can still see a very slight orange , they are much brighter than other silver affect bulbs on the market but if you want solid silver they are not as bright, I have a dark blue car and for my purpose brighter is better , very happy with purchase

I have used these bulbs 💡 for years now compared to older versions the silvering has definitely got less so a tinge of fried egg 🍳 can still be seen in some circumstances but for my needs they are completely satisfactory the old Audi A3 8L has a shield in the indicator rear lights as a the middle portion is clear so I was able to remove the slight orange 🍊 colour on this occasion they seem to be of good quality and value and if my past purchases are anything to go by they last years I would definitely recommend these in some certain circumstances 😀

Great quality Bulbs

If you own a vehicle with nice headlights and don't want unsightly orange indicator bulbs showing, then i can recommend these bulbs. They appear silver and blend in with the headlamp but actually flash orange when indicator/ hazard light are used. I would buy again .

Good bulbs to help de-tango a vehicle when amber bulbs are in use. With clear lenses all-round, a useful and relatively cost-effective option to remove any amber from a vehicle. Swap and instantly see a silver / clear look. But flash amber when the task is called for. Nice. Too early to talk about longevity, and a tad pricey in November 2021 for a pair at GBP 12.00. They do look nice though!

Installed these bulbs in smoked tail lights. The bulbs are barely visible when switched off, which gives a much cleaner appearance than standard amber bulbs. When flashing, they still produce a clear amber light and remain highly visible. Very happy with the result.

Trollar bort dom oranga blinklamporna framtill på min Volkswagen Golf 4. Det blir ett enhetligt snyggt silverutseende på hela framlyktan med dessa lampor. Lyser starkt och bra. Men egentligen alldeles för dyra, därför 1 stjärnas avdrag. På bilderna sitter lampan i mitten, överst.
