**Q: Anyone had any issues with the soil? Not draining properly, fungus appearing and infestation in soil with white bugs**
A: No specific issues but this isn't what succulents and cacti should be planted in without amendment.  It's not well draining enough.  It would need to be mixed with about 50% perlite to be well-draining.  Or better yet look for Lechuza Pon gritty mix on Amazon.  Works great and needs no amendment.

**Q: Is this also good for Aloe Vera plant**
A: The details on the bag say the compost is suitable for cacti and succulents. Since aloe vera is a succulent I suppose it must be! Hope this helps.

**Q: Does it have fertiliser in?**
A: It has nutrients but at a very low level. The manufacturer states:Contains peat, sand, grit, sterilised soil, maglime, wetting agent as well as a carefully balanced range of nutrients to support growth for up to 2 months.

**Q: Hello, I am purchasing succulents and potting them in old jam jars, do I need any other sort of soil or will this be sufficient?**
A: There is no reason for adding anything to the compost for the benefit of the cacti. However you may want to put a layer of gravel in the bottom under the compost so that you can get a better idea as to how much water you are adding. In normal conditions the excess water drains out of the pot which yours will not. Over watering is probably the biggest cause of cacti dying.

despite what many reviews say, the bag is small but it is actually 2 liters, as it is stated in the description (and on the packaging). The liters are a measure of the VOLUME, hence the weight of a liter depends on the material that you're measuring. 1lt of water is indeed 1kg, but 1lt of this product has obviously a different weight... after this said, 2 liters are a very small amount of soil indeed, and at this price it's nearly a robbery... I bought it only because I wanted it delivered the day after with Prime, and other similar products would take longer. the product is of good quality though, I was already familiar with this brand/type and I can recommend it. I would suggest to mix it with a bit of some other fast-draining compost which is rich on organic material and less sandy.
