Use 1 for up to 600g of dry fabric. If you're doing 1800g of fabric, so need to use 3 then that's what you need to do. But I did another rinse and spin cycle to be sure all dye was gone. And wiped around the rubber rim. Good luck. The colour came out noticeably darker and made the clothes look much fresher overall although it wasn’t back to being pure black. It didn't completely cover some stains I was hoping to hide, so I wouldn't rely on it for that, but it definitely improved the appearance of the fabric and evened out the colour. One thing to be aware of is that it left some black marks on the washing machine door seal after use. However, most of it came off with a quick wipe and a cleaning cycle, so it wasn't a major issue.
