I’ve been really picky about moisturisers since my skin started playing up, and this is one I’ll actually stick with. It’s so lightweight it almost feels like water going on. It sinks in straight away and once it’s dried you genuinely can’t feel it on your face - no greasiness, no heavy layer, no sticky finish. My skin just feels normal and balanced. It’s been great for my combination skin. It hydrates properly without making my T-zone shiny or clogging my pores. A little goes a long way too, so the pot lasts longer than you’d think. The only downside is I wish it came in a pump - it would feel more hygienic and just easier to use. But formula-wise, I can’t fault it. I’ve already recommended it to a few friends with similar skin types. Really solid everyday moisturiser.

I’ve been using this for 2-3 weeks, my skin is prone to getting greasy during the day and suffers from dry patches- especially in winter. So far I’m impressed with the performance of this gel face cream, it’s easy to apply and feels cool and soothing, a small amount goes a long way, so seems good value for money so far. It has not caused any irritation on my sensitive skin and has helped my dry patches disappear. I’m currently using day and night after cleansing and it has not caused any greasiness or blocked pores for the 12hrs it’s on my skin. There is basically no scent which I find reassuring and I’m able to apply my makeup/ sunscreen etc, easily over the top. I would recommend as a day cream and I am Going to continue to use it (though I will invest in a more intensive moisturiser for the night shift).

Very good. Best used on slightly damp face. Keeps the skin moisturised for hours. Been using for a week now and seen improvement already on my face.

Love this product! The gel is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and refreshed without any greasiness. Perfect for daily use, especially for sensitive skin. Delivery was smooth and right on time too. Will definitely be buying again!

Before I started using this product, I was bouncing between different moisturisers. I have never struggled with my skin, but since last September, I started getting closed comedones! I have been trialing so many methods to get rid of them, and some of these have left my skin damaged but also neglected. A trip to an aesthetician told me that I needed more hydration in my routine as my skin was lacking this drastically, so I went ahead and bought one of their expensive creams (Aquaporin). After two months this did not make much difference to my skin in terms of hydration, I even had to buy other hyaluronic acid products to compensate, not to mention as I am rotating between Retinol, AHA/BHA, my skin is starting to get a bit dull and dry. I then decided to buy Neutrogena's gel cream recently and have not been disappointed at all! When picking between the water gel, and gel cream, many people state that ONLY fragrance is the difference. After researching, apparently this is not. The gel cream is more suitable for sensitive skin in need of more moisture as well as hydration, in a way, it is just a bit more heavier than the water gel, but it certainly does not feel heavy when I apply it, you can see from its consistency that it is very gel like and light. PROS: Not only does the product HYDRATE, it also adds MOISTURE. Both are essential in skin, and both are tough to find in one product, which is why I am even more in love with it. The cream is supposed to be thicker than the water gel, but honestly, it does not feel terribly thick on skin, in fact when you massage it in it feels incredibly soft and light. Skin does not feel tight after using, which is a problem with a lot of cheaper brand alternatives. Has not given me more closed comedones or acne, so if you are acne-prone this seems to be nice. No fragrance. Good for sensitive skin. Helps with dry and flaky patches of skin. Skin feels SO soft after using this, it is definitely retaining moisture, and this is working well with reducing comedones. CONS Some may think the price is good, I think it is decent for what you are getting, I have no problem paying this price over and over again, but I can tell this product does come on sale often so might be better to be patient and stock up. Overall: 5/5. Excellent product, I think I have find a moisturiser to use for a VERY long time, again hydration and moisture in one product is amazing! Plus it is incredibly gently on my sensitive, combination skin.

I love love love neutrogena hydro boost gel cream, it last for ages, you only need a tiny bit, it’s light yet totally hydrating, this is my 3rd one now, I’m hooked (I’m 57)

Al these years i used expensive and less expensive facecreams. This one, is really really good. I use it in the winter, when my skin is a bit dry. In the summer i use another one with spf.
