Stephenson Melt and Pour Soap Base Organic - 1Kg

I love this melt and pour soap. I tried another soap base in the Stephenson's range but this one is much less drying on my skin especiallywhen I add coconut oil and essential oils to the base. I love that it only has a few ingredients listed and it makes fantastic soap even for a novice like me.

so far so good, i've made 3 batches, 1 lavender and two oatmeal, calendula and vanilla, the later one leaves your skin extremelly soft and has healing effects. there was some confussion at first as i bought organic but all there was to indicate what it was on the package was a tiny sticker at the bottom so i thought they sent me the wrong one, i'm looking forward to trying different types from this brand, all in all it was easy to use (beginner here) and the soap came up great also it lathers well and lasts quite a while.

Good product

It's gentle on the skin, very easy to use and ideal for novice soap experimenters! I have purchased various soap bases from the Stephenson's range and my favourite is the Glycerin Soap Base - it's like Pears' soap and is a good foamer. The Organic soap would be my second favourite due to the slight smell that it has prior to scents being added.

Good product for making your own soap, does not upset my skin at all, which is unusual for me. This was my 2nd block and I'll be ordering more.

After moving to London, I had issues with very dry skin all over my body. It took many tries of different soaps, shampoos and shower gels to find out that this soap base works best for me for hands, hair and body. Pros: + great as a standalone soap + doesn't seem to dry out my skin at all + lathers rather well + cleans well + works great as a hand soap, a shampoo and a shower gel alternative + reasonably priced (at this time, £7.50/kg) Cons: - a little difficult to melt on a hob - the temperature can't be too high or you can actually burn the soap if you stop stirring even for a short moment - toward the end of the bar, lathering abilities are reduced (but still cleans well) The only soaps that came close to this one was Waitrose pure glycerine soap (slightly harsher than the reviewed product), CARIA Pure Castile Olive Oil Soap Bar Traditional Village Turkish Natural Handmade Fragrance Free 150g and its Laurel oil sibling (40% Laurel oil, seems to have disappeared from Amazon). I've bought this soap base several times now. It lasts fairly well, it's consistently good and affects my skin positively, so I can see myself buying it again and again.

I am a newbie at making soap and searched and researched the cold process and the melt and pour methods, deciding that although I would love to make the cold process, the cost and heath concerns about the ingredients made me look into the melt and pour soap bases. I decided to try the clear, white and organic soaps from Mystic moments and another brands version (also on amazon) But I have come back and have re-purchased the Organic soap (and the white and clear sls free melt and pour soap) The ingredients of Mystic Moments Organic melt and pour soap are very good, and I suffer from reactive eczema and have had no issues with holding or using the soaps, makes wonderful bars that anyone can use and is very quick at setting, although it does take a little time to melt on a low heat in a bowl on the hob (I do not like using a microwave) In the bain-marie method, I love the gentle soap I have made, and so far the essential oils I have used have created wonderful soap (Lavender organic essential oil, rosemary, eucalyptus, tea tree, patchouli, spearmint etc!) Try it, Mystic Moments soap comes with a very good instruction sheet of paper too, so if your a beginner like I was and am, you are not left wondering what to do!

I'm new to soap making and was unsure if this was mold on the soap or how it had been stored before delivery, I don't think I will use it just incase, but it arrived on time.

Buena calidad y muy fácil de preparar

Everything about it wasnt to my expectations. I was soo dissatisfied. Cant recommend it to anyone. It was a horrible experience 😪

El envase muy bien por el taper que te sirve para guardar si no gastas todo pero no vienen los ingredientes por ningún lado, tuve que pedirlo dos veces porque la primera vez venía el paquete dañado y la empresa de transporte no lo cogió (lo malo fue que no avisaron a amazon ni a mi y hasta que no reclamé pasada la fecha de entrega no supe porqué), la segunda vez además de tardar mucho en entregarlo (vivo en una aldea y el servicio es muy malo, trabajes con la empresa que trabajes) venía roto el envase, como el interior se veía bien no lo devolví. Me quedo con la duda de los ingredientes, viene como jabón base orgánico pero ni siquiera en la página de ellos vienen los ingredientes, no creo que vuelva a comprarlo, además lo compré para hacer un taller con niños y la verdad es que hay que ser rápido al manipularlo porque enfría y endurece rápidamente, como punto bueno diré que la terminación quedó muy bonita pero con ayuda de los adultos claro...

Ich habe vor kurzem angefangen, Seife selbst zu machen. Dabei habe ich schon ein paar Basen ausprobiert, die aber alle irgendwie einen eigenartigen Eigengeruch hatten. Diese hier ist prima. Sie riecht auch, aber der Geruch ist angenehm und erinnert an Schmierseife, was ich als sehr gut empfinde. Sie wird beim Sieden leicht gelblich durchsichtig und lässt sich gut einfärben. Einzig, dass sie ein wenig Blasen wirft, ist ungewöhnlich, stört mich aber nicht. Dafür schäumt die fertige Seife sehr gut. Kurz noch was zur Verpackung: Die Bestellung kam zusammen mit anderen Sachen in einem Amazon-Karton einwandfrei und sehr zügig an. TOP! Ich werde sie sicher wieder bestellen. 5 Sterne von mir. :)

Eccellente Base per la Creazione di Sapone, Ho fatto delle saponette stupende al miele super idratante e profumate , sono molto sodisfatta.
