Nicpro 3 PCS 1.3 mm Mechanical Pencil Set with 48 Lead Refills, 3 Eraser

I am very pleased with this mechanical pencil set. The 1.3 mm lead is strong and produces a bold, easy-to-read line, making it great for writing, sketching, and marking measurements. I recently purchased the Nicpro 3 PCS 1.3 mm Mechanical Pencils Set, and overall I think it's a good set of pencils. It did take me a little bit of time to get used to them, but once I did, I found them to be very comfortable to write with.The weight distribution of the pencils is great, and the grip is very comfortable.The 1.3mm lead size is perfect for my needs. It's tougher than a 0.9mm lead and can handle writing on course surfaces and unlike a 2mm pencil it doesn’t need to be sharpened I also find that the thickness of the lead allows for a more bold and clear line without being too thick.One downside is that the weight of the pencil may take some getting used to. I like to keep my pencil in my hat, but these pencils are a bit heavier and tend to fall out.Despite the barrel being a plastic resin it seems very durable and I believe that they will last a long time if not abused.Overall, for the price, I am satisfied with this set of pencils and I may even purchase another set to have in more locations. If you are in need of a good set of mechanical pencils with a thicker lead, I would definitely recommend giving these a try.

Overall very nice. The black round eraser is quite hard and does not erase very well at all. The white rectangular erasers that come with the kit work quite well. Initially I erased with the black round eraser then went over with the white rectangular eraser but the black eraser is hard on paper, so now I just use the white rectangular eraser. Happy with set because the pencil feels good in the hand, thicker lead does not easily break, and good supply of leads.UPDATE: This is a fine writing pencil and after using it daily I am upgrading the review to 5 stars. I have the 1.3 mm and can put nice pressure when writing with bold lines. The only thing I will mention is that when the lead gets to 5/8 inch you can't put any pressure writing and I thought the clutch was malfunctioning, but once I put a new lead in it worked fine. And again I will mention the 4B soft eraser works well. I am ordering the 35 piece set with 0.5 mm, .7 mm and .9 mm pencils.

These are nice pencils and the black led works well. The Yellow and Red led hardly write on lined paper and were better on drawing paper

Cheap plastic junk. Knurled finger grip detached from the stem. I had to tape it on so the lead would flow.Shortly after that the pencil stopped working all together. Pencil gives the illusion that it is sturdy and well made, it is not. Anyone want to buy some lead?

Nice mechanical pencil set.

Great looking and seems like quality till you drop it. There is so much more mass in the tip end than the rear that when you drop it, it bullets to the floor, and if it hits tile or concrete, the inner barrel is dented so it no longer feeds lead. One i drilled out to fix and the next few times I just threw them away. I'm not buying a third set of pencils. The lead is great quality. Brass tips aren't hard enough. needs a chrome collar at the tip if the design is to be usable in future revisions
