B-Tech BT77 Ultragrip Pro Speaker Mount, Set of 2, Side Clamp with Tilt and Swivel, Black

Looked around for a while to find some decent speaker mounts for less than £50, decided after reading other reviews and seeing the price drop to £28 these were worth a punt for my Mordaunt-Short 902s. When receiving the parcel I was surprised at the small box they came in! I opened it up to find 4 main pieces for each bracket and some smaller nuts/bolts/screws etc in a little packet. It was all quite obvious for how to put them together, I didn't even open the instructions. Just to quickly sum up the construction of these brackets, the wall plate is 3mm plate steel, with a piece of box section steel about 15mmx40mm welded on the plate. Then there is a plastic cup which goes on the end of the arm to support the speaker clamp and enable angle adjustment. Although plastic, the end cap seems strong and I have wound the nut and bolt holding it all together very tight and it shows no signs of breaking. To finish it off there's a plastic cover for the wall plate and a cap for the bolt head underneath. The piece that actually supports the speaker clamps the sides of the speaker, using a screwdriver to bring the clamp together. Quite considerable force can be applied and using the supplied foam/rubber pads I can't see ever needing to put a screw through into the sides of your nice speakers. I have mine at the steepest angle and I I think the bracket would come off the wall before the speakers slip out of these clamps. Maybe if your speakers are near the 25kg limit it would be worth using screws but I'd think if the speakers are really that big and heavy they'd be better off on floor mounts. There are only 2 things I think could be improved upon: Firstly the plastic cover for the wall plate just seems to sit there, I'd prefer it to "click" in place. It doesn't really matter because it's probably never going to be touched but if it were to be knocked it would move forwards away from the wall. Secondly as another reviewer has mentioned there are no holes in the wall plate/plastic cover to facilitate wiring coming out of your walls. I don't think this warrants losing a star as how many people actually install their wires into the walls? And if the manufacturer did put a hole it might look strange for the majority of people that wouldn't be using it. If you've put in the effort of getting cables in your walls, drilling a small hole in this bracket isn't going to be difficult for you!

Perfect product. Wanted something to mount surround speakers at a ~80 degree angle against the wall. Saw complaints in reviews about build quality, exposed hex nut on the bottom, and needing to drill your own hole for cable routing. IMO build quality is fine: the cover plate is sticking on fine for me. Had to make a tiny notch in the hole in it to get the cables I'd routed through the arm through when I slid it on. However: It comes with a plastic cover for the exposed hex nut at the bottom. Another review complained about it being exposed. I guess it's still not a thing of beauty but it looks fine IMO. There is a hole drilled for cable routing out of the wall behind the back plate which works perfectly (Though it's not huge, might be hard to get anything other than speaker cable for passive speakers through) My speakers aren't huge, but it's pretty sturdy even just screwed into plasterboard. I won't be deliberately swinging on it but I'm not worried about knocks. (And if you put it into something more solid then you could swing off it all you want) TL; DR: Buy this one

I found these wall mounts easy enough to install. The screw hole pattern on the wall plates is staggered which keeps things good and solid. With the screw covers installed they look classy and simple, not industrial. There are screw holes to secure the sides of the speakers but I opted for the rubber pads that are included. I've got some classic old MS20i's mounted on them and didn't want to make holes in the sides. The clamp mechanism uses left and right screw threads to tighten it up - I simply made sure to mount the speakers slightly back heavy. The speakers have been clamped to the walls for 3 or so months now and all is good with no movement whatsoever. The swivel range is excellent. My speakers have a footprint of about 20cm x 20cm so I reckon these would handle up to around 25x25cm without the back or sides of the cabinets catching on anything. Most importantly - the sound quality of the speakers is greatly improved over shelf mounting them. I would definitely buy this product for another pair of speakers.

I bought these to mount some Q Acoustics 2020i speakers on a sloping attic ceiling. These speakers are fairly heavy and so the maximum weight rating for the clamps was important. Rated up to 25 Kg they are well capable of carrying the 5 Kg that the speakers weigh. The clamps are well made , very sturdy and easy to fix up but one oversight in their design is that there is no provision for hiding any rear entry cable . To get round this problem I drilled a hole through the top of the metal box section that sits under the speaker support plate. By placing this hole about an inch from the back of this strut (near to where it joins to the wall fixing plate ) I was able to thread my cable in from the rear and up through the hole I had made. Fortunately the box section is open at the rear to allow this.I also had to make a slight hole in the plastic covering plate to allow it to slide over the speaker wire. Doing all this will enable connection to speaker terminals on the back of any speaker or , as in my case , to speaker terminals placed on the bottom of the speakers. Because I was using speakers with terminals situated underneath the speaker I had to make my connections before actually fitting the speaker to the clamp's speaker support plate. As I was doing the job alone I fitted banana plugs as trying to connect bare wire would have been very awkward whilst up the ladder and carrying the weight of the speaker. I found another problem with my choice of speaker was that they have rounded edges at both top and bottom and this meant that the clamps only had a very small contact area with the sides of the speakers. It was insufficient to support my speakers properly as they face down to the seating. To get round this I made some wooden inserts to fit in the recess underneath the speakers utilising existing screw holes . I then made a couple of small holes in the clamp base so that I could screw through it into the wood. I don't think my speakers will ever come adrift and it was all achieved without any permanent modification to the speakers. There was ample adjustment on the clamps to point the speakers exactly where I want them and I am very happy with how things have worked out.The finished job looks very neat and tidy. I have only given the clamps four stars because I had to modify them to hide the cable and this is something B Tech should have built in to the design. In all other aspects they are a five star product.

I was looking for a heavy duty and good looking set of wall mounts for my 4 Wharfedale Diamond 10.2's, after asking a question to see if they will fit on these brackets and getting the answer - I purchased two pairs of these and they came within 3 days packaged well. They come with all of the required fittings such as screws and wall plugs, instructions are nice and clear to read and understand. I only had to read the instructions once for one of the brackets, after that the rest of them were easy to put together and mount. I have these mounted at ear level 7CM away from the wall at each corner of the room with the speakers perfectly straight, after tightening them and using the grip foam stuff that comes with them, I haven't really felt the need to use any screws to hold the speakers on the mounts (you will have to if you want to tilt the speakers!) They haven't come away from the wall, rattled and the speakers haven't tilted at all so I'm a very happy person! Oh, plus the metal brackets on each side of the bottom clamps do not show much where the Diamonds curve, which is brilliant as it looks so clean and made for these speakers! (See my photo) Highly recommended for Wharfedale Diamond speakers!

Bought these in order to mount my rear surround speakers on the wall. For years I've had them on stands which were fine but since moving house, have been a nightmare due to different living room layout, so decided to affix these to the wall. The units are really well made, with one slight niggle in that the plastic bracket cover doesn't clip in place anywhere, it just slides up the arm and that's it - I'd prefer something a bit more substantial but it works, so won't mark it down for that. Actually fitting them was easy enough; I bought some plasterboard self tapping plugs and accompanying screws and used those, as where I wanted my speakers wasn't studded and the instructions state they're supposed to be. What's supplied with the kit is plenty good enough so no worries if your walls are studded. I digress. Fitting is relatively quick, I used the on wall leveling system (2 wide screw holes basically) and marked the other holes on the wall when I was happy with the vertical adjustment. 4 screw holes each later and they were fitted, straight, and then further assembled. Once complete, I tightened the base around my speakers (protected by the handy supplied foam padding) and then trunked the cable up the walls. Quick recalibration of the receiver and I was blown away by the sound. Absolutely brilliant. Very impressed with the ease of fitting, and the supplied accessories to enable this to happen.

After searching the various internet sites, I finally found what I hoped was a speaker wall bracket that was strong, would take a heavy speaker without having to damage/screw holes to my bookshelf speakers, and once fitted to the wall, would allow me to not only angle the speaker to my required line of sound, but also tilt slghtly to point the speaker down towards the listener position. Once arrived I eagerly opened the box and the first thing that I realised was the build quality, with all the parts being very easy to assemble and of top quality. Even the glossy black cover is made of a strong high quality finish plastic. The excellent side clamping method to secure the actual speaker is very positive and holds my 7kg bookshelf speakers tightly without leaving any scuff marks or having to screw the speaker in position. If you are looking for top quality speaker brackets that not only look great, but are functional and very versatile then these are the brackets for you. The box includes a pair of brackets, all fittings and screws, washers etc, and ample wall plugs and screws. All of high quality. Highly recommended. Full 5 stars for this product. Not the cheapest but certainly the best in my opinion.

Wow better then I thought they would be so well made easy to put up and put together. Look great also holds the speakers very well without having to put screws into the side of your speakers to hold them safely. Yes I didn’t want to to that also. But they hold the speakers so well you don’t need to use the screws at all. They also have pads on the inside of the brackets which stops the brackets when tightened up really well from marking the sides of your speakers. I have had both of mine on the full tilt downwards and had them playing very loud and they have not moved at all without putting any screws into my speakers. They are the best and strongest brackets I have seen that hold very heavy speakers up to 25Kg plus they also look great and have covers for all the screws and bolts top product well designed and manufactured definitely can recommend them.

Très bon produit. Solide, bien construit, facile à installer pour qui n'a pas deux mains gauches. Le résultat est très satisfaisant. Cependant, dans l'intérêt général, voici deux remarques par rapport à mon expérience. 1) mes enceintes ont les angles inférieurs légèrement arrondis... du coup les "mâchoires" du support avaient du mal à agripper les flancs de mes enceintes... j'ai dû ajouter du double-face sous les enceintes. 2) les caches plastiques pour les pattes murales ne se "fixent" pas. Donc elles sont susceptibles de bouger. J'ai là aussi mis un peu de double-face pour les immobiliser.

I supporti sono belli esteticamente e si adattano ad ogni ambiente. Robusti e facili da montare e hanno un bel range di larghezza e regolazione in orizzontale che in verticale. Forniti di tutto il necessario per l'installazione (tasselli, gommini antiscivolo). Per un upgrade definitivo consiglio di mettere una goccia di silicone o colla a caldo per fissare la copertura di plastica sulla staffa perché ad alto volume iniziano a vibrare un po.

If you're looking to get these mounts for your pioneers bs22: I don't recommend it. That is unless you enjoy living on the edge, or you're fine with screwing holes into your speakers. Due to how the speakers curve on the side, the clamping mechanism won't be able to clamp the whole side. What this means is that the surface area the mount is actually holding is very little, making the speakers prone to sliding off the mount if you're titling it forward. Now, if you're not going to be tilting the speakers, then you could potentially use these while having the thought that the speakers aren't 100% secure and could fall for whatever reason in the back of your mind. However, if you do choose to screw into the speakers to secure it onto the mount then the mounts are great. Its secure and it can rotate a ful 180! The only issue I can think of is that the mount requires you to essentially lock the position you want the speakers to be tilted. What I mean by this is that to be able to tilt the speakers you would have to unscrew one of the lugg nutts on the bottom, adjust the tilt of your speakers, and rescrew it(the lugg nutt is really hard to screw. You'll need a wrench. Can't unscrew by hand.), or else the speakers will just keep tilting forward due to the front heavy weight. Also friendly tip: screw the bracket in first. Next put on the bracket cover. Then start assembling the actual mount or you'll have to disassemble and reassemble it all over again. So, buy if you're ok with screwing into your speakers or if you don't mind them potentially falling. Happy mounting! Tl;dr Clamps don't clamp the whole side. Need to screw speakers onto mount for 100% secureness. Otherwise mounts are great.

This is very well made. It was intuitive and easy to assemble and mount. The fact that the skeleton of this is made of wrought iron gave me confidence that this would last long and hold up my Klipsch speakers easily and for long. Highly recommend

Da meine Yamaha HS8 (ca. 10kg) eine Menge Platze auf dem Schreibtisch wegnehmen wollte ich sie endlich an die Wand bringen. Mit einer Tiefe von gut 35cm hab ich mir da Anfangs ein wenig Sorgen gemacht ob meine Monitore auf die Halterungen passen und dann einfach mal auf gut Glück bestellt. In der Anleitung ist die maximale Lautsprechergröße mit 450mmx280mmx350mm (HxBxT) angegeben. Den vorderen Überhang hab ich mit 10cm gewählt (max. 11cm laut Anleitung). Passt alles wie angegossen. Die Montage war allerdings etwas komplizierter als ich anfangs dachte. Ich hab eine Weile gebraucht um alle Maße auszukaspern, daher hier meine Lösung für alle die Zeit sparen wollen: Die Unterkante der an der Wand angeschraubten Platten ist bei mir 130cm vom Boden entfernt und die Mittelpunkte der Platten ca. 180cm weit auseinander. Für meine Sitzposition kommt dann entsprechend geneigt und etwas gedreht alles perfekt auf meine Ohren. Es reichte bei mir aus pro Halter drei 8mm-Löcher in die Wand zu bohren (Mitte und dann oben und unten). Bei der Position der Schrauben sollte man die Abbildung vom "On Wall Leveling System" nutzen um später die Neigung noch korrigieren zu können. Haltet euch für die Montage ansonsten unbedingt an die Anleitung, damit ihr nicht unnötig alles wieder auseinanderfriemeln müsst. Es war bei mir nicht nötig die Extra-Schrauben in meine Monitore zu schrauben, die Klammern lassen sich gut anziehen und halten bombenfest. Genug Moosgummi für die vier Seitenbacken liegt bei. Jeder der handwerklich ein wenig begabt ist sollte alles in ca. 1 Stunde erledigt haben. Die Dübel erfüllen zwar ihren Zweck, aber haben vorn keine Kante, so dass sie in die Wand rutschen können wenn man zu tief bohrt. Hier sollte man vielleicht besser Dübel höherer Qualität verwenden. Als Kritikpunkte sind ganz klar die billigen Plastikblenden für die Wandhalterungen zu nennen. Dass sie nicht schön aussehen kann ich noch verschmerzen, aber man kann sie NICHT auf die Halterung clippen, sie bammeln einfach auf den Haltern rum (wer konstruiert sonen Unsinn?). Eventuell kriegt man sie später noch mit doppelseitigem Klebeband oder Klettband befestigt. Die Kappen auf denen die Platten für die Lautsprecher aufgesetzt werden sind zwar auch aus billigstem Plastik, erfüllen aber ihren Zweck bisher tadellos (und sparen zudem etwas Gewicht, das muss ja auch mal gesagt werden :)). Alles in allem geht die Qualität für den Preis in Ordnung, man darf für den geringen Preis halt keine Wunder erwarten.
