Timex Women's Easy Reader 25mm Expansion Band Watch

I had been looking for a watch for quite literally years. My eyesight has been rapidly diminishing as has my dexterity so I was looking for a watch that was easy to put on and read. I had ended up with digital but all had buckles that I found in a style I was happy to wear at 50. I read the reviews for this watch, it was reasonably priced and was for a small wrist, perfect. I put it in my basket, got distracted so when I went back a few weeks later it was to find the watch in the sales. I did not hesitate and have been more then delighted ever since. I had the added surprise of finding I could change the time myself and even better there was a night light that was easy for me to work. I'm in the process of major spinal operation with trapped nerves and strong medication affecting dexterity This watch has been a joy to wear, to look at and to operate. Highly recommend. Hat of to the designers you have really put all the right ingredients together. If you are looking for yourself, indulge. If you are considering as a present you will make someone very happy. To sum up even at full price it is worth every penny to have it in the sale is an added bonus. Have had the watch about a month now and remain as delighted as I was the first day I wore it. So easy to tell the time with the dark numbers and hands on the light background Have not once got the time wrong and it still looks great no scratches or other sign of damage and it has been dropped and been in the water. Highly recommend. Oh yes, I placed the order during the night and it actually arrived that same day, very Impressive and totally not expected Nothing but good surprises with this little gem

I've had to say a sad farewell to my old Timex, twenty five + years together, dozens of different coloured straps, many batteries but this time even a new one didn't wake it up properly. It feels mean to bury it so I'll stow it away for my family to dispose of later on. But no worries - here I am all set up, the next day even, with a sparkly new one, with a shiny but familiar face, that trusty little back light too ready to glow and reassure in the dark night, to amuse a child, sneakily check when it will be time to go home ... Others have mentioned the wrist strap, a new thing for me after leather ones. My wrist is 6" round and it fits me perfectly. There are instructions for making it smaller in the leaflet but I agree it is snug so measure your wrist first, perhaps it might stretch an inch or two more but could bite in after that. I think a jeweller would help with sizing and if all else fails you could go back to a leather strap as I am sure this bracelet one would come off in the right hands. However the bracelet strap has an added plus - gold goes well with everything! There is much to be said for simplicity, no one would want to put on reading glasses to see the time and for me, it's good to see the numbers, and now the date, a new feature, bright and clear on a white background. It is honestly as much and as good as I want or need in a watch so there - all said and done, another satisfied customer.

Bought this watch as my old indiglo had given up the ghost and I like to be able to tell the time quickly at night without having to move about or switch lights on, and also for work, so as not to damage a more expensive, smart watch. It has a good, clear, easy to read dial, and is a neat and good quality watch, but I find the strap is just a bit too big for me, and I can't see any way I can adjust it (being an expandable strap rather than with a clasp). Because I'm only wearing it at night its not that big a deal and I can push it a bit further up my arm than I would normally wear it, but I did look through the reviews quite carefully, as this is a problem I've had before. Lots of reviews said they were for the buyer's daughters and it was great, and one woman even said it was too tight for her daughter's small wrists. God knows how big these children are! In fact, I've just measured my wrist, which is 15cm, so I would guess the watch is 16cm or a fraction more. hope this helps somebody.

Great little watch. Trusted name of Timex. Who needs to pay more just to tell the time? Does what it's made to do. What's not to love? Had this sometime now and only recently changed the battery. Admittedly the date window is too small to read if you need to but you truly don't need it! The background illumination when engaged gives just the right amount of light to read the time and get you to the bathroom in the middle of the night without disturbing your partner!! Lol

I think that was the ad from when I was a kid. Anyway, totally applies to this watch. I've had it just about two years now and despite wearing it in the shower everyday, keeping it on in the pool and my boys stealing it off my wrist to play secret agents it is still in perfect working order. I've never even had to change the battery, which is pretty amazing since between my boys and myself we've used the Indiglo bazillions of times. It even seems to be the perfect amount of light to have a quick check on them in the dark. My only caveat is if you are a fussy sleeper and you curl your arm up so that your hand is near your head you might find that its tick is a little loud. It doesn't bother me, but I can see that for some people it would be a deal breaker. Of course it's a matter of taste, but I think that it makes an excellent everyday watch and it is a nicely muted silver, not too shiney. I was an Ironman girl for years but I can see that this looks much nicer and I am a total convert to the expandable band.

Loved the look of this watch and after having 2 timex watches with indiglo I went for this model , I had read on the reviews that the bracelet was a little on the small side and this meant it was uncomfortable , I went ahead tho and purchased it , it arrived and sure enough the bracelet was far too small for a normal female wrist it is more suited to someone who is very petite .a real shame as the expanding bracelet range of ladies timex watches is rather limited, and as i had already got the other two with expanding braceletsI fancied a change, why this particular strap is so small is beyond me because the others in the range are larger,in the end I bought a traditional leather strap one to replace the onesI had this was an improvement as it is adjust able but I'm still disappointed my original choice was too small .

This watch is exactly what I needed/wanted. Clear face with numbers, date, expandable bracelet makes very easy to take it off, light for checking time in a dark and waterproof! Simple design to match any outfit. Perfect fit for my wrist. I was concerned about the wrist size after reading some reviews so I measured the watch for anybody who need to know whether they can order it or not. I'm not slim build and six months pregnant at the moment and the watch fits great. The bracelet is about 6.5 inches/16.5 cm long. Yes, it did pinch my skin once (I've got the watch 2 weeks now) but it wasn't massively painful and it's prone to happen with expandable bracelet like this every so often... So what... Comfort of expandable bracelet is much more important for me.

I was given some money for Christmas and as I needed a new watch I decided to purchase this Timex. I have had a similar style before and it is very attractive, looking more expensive than it's actual price, but at the same time subtle and functional. As I work in an office, it's important to me to have a reliable watch. The main attraction of this watch for me is the Indiglo function, so that I can see the time in the dark. The date function is also an advantage. The watch was delivered swiftly, even over the Christmas period and was well packaged, so would make a nice gift. Having an expandable bracelet, it is also comfortable to wear.

I used to be a regular customer of US Amazon and had 4 watches from Timex, this was a 2nd purchase. Loved everything about it but the out packing was so soft the the box inside was broken (it was a gift so I was embarrassed to pack it in that box). Watch stopped working after 2 months battery change dint help, and then suddenly after few days it started working again. But i love this watch.

My mum absolutely loved this watch on Mothers Day. She said it was so easy to slip on her hand as its like a stretchy bracelet. Stunning watch.

I bought this for a trip to NYC. I quit using a watch several years ago, & just look at my phone for the time now. BUT, on this trip, I was going to be on a schedule with a group tour, and didn't want to have to get my phone out of my purse multiple times to see what the time was, so this worked out great. Durable, easy to read, classic looks, and the quality of the Timex brand that we are all familiar with. A great buy!
