Once you have ‘cottoned on’ to the amount of sugar we manage to consume in so many products, it is quite concerning. This is for me the most convincing substitute that I have found and is so good when you require that touch of sweetness. This particular product, out of a range, is slightly less sweet, spoon for spoon than sugar. It looks like a type of granulated Demerara.
