Waterpik (WP450E2) Waterflosser Cordless Plus Travel Water Jet Blanco

I had a more expensive Flosser and replaced it with this one. The charged battery last longer, the water power is more than adequate at two power settings and it simply does the job. I have a brace and have had this three years and wouldn’t now be without this product. Will also fit in your handbag too.

Excellent value and does the job well.

I was recommended this product by my dental hygienist. She suggested it because I have slight receding of the gums. I use this product every evening, filling it up once with warm water and a little mouthwash for the top teeth, and refilling it again for the bottom. It definitely works, at the risk of sounding a bit gross you can see the food debris that the water jet flushes out in the sink after use. It can be a bit messy at first, but once you’re used to it, it’s very simple, very quick and very effective. One star dropped simply because the recharger has to be plugged in to the back of the product, and I would prefer it to have a stand like an electric toothbrush. Plus there’s no charge light indicator so I don’t know when it needs a recharge until it stops, nor do I know when it’s fully charged after I plug it in. These are quite minor details, the product itself is very good indeed and I would definitely recommend it if you get food stuck between the teeth. Having used this product and seen how much gets stuck in there I really don’t think a toothbrush alone is sufficient, and this is much quicker than flossing or using those mini brushes for between the teeth. Would I have bought this if my hygienist hadn't suggested it ? I doubt it. It was much larger than I anticipated. Water goes everywhere. You need to see a video of how to use it. It says you can clean the inside of your teeth but I'm not sure how it's possible. However it does get debris out of your teeth so maybe it does work .

I’m well impressed with the cordless water pick. I don’t have a mains shaver socket in my bathroom and despite hearing that mains was the best I find this cordless model has plenty of power and does what it’s intended to do. I’d definitely recommend it. Don’t be put off by the fact it’s cordless. It’s a good quality well made water pick and the battery lasts a long time.

This product was strongly recommended by my dentist. I took some time purchasing it as I was not too sure if it really cleans that well and continued with regular dental floss for a few more months. However, once I purchased it, I found it very useful. It cleans gaps between teeth much better than regular dental floss. Now that I use the WaterPik regularly, I feel it is money well spent. One observation is, while charging it, good if manufacturer had given some kind of charging LED light to indicate it is charging and maybe change the LED light color to green or something, once fully charged. In this case, the product does not have any light indicator while charging. But that's OK. The utility value and effectiveness of cleaning teeth is great. The WaterPik build quality is also very good and feels solid.

Meine erste WP 450 hielt 4 Jahre und leistete eine sehr zufriedenstellend Zahnreinigung, danach verabschiedete sich der Akku was wohl anhand des täglichen Gebrauchs eine angemessene Zeit war. Der Nachfolger wieder eine WP. 450 war 13 Monate im täglichen Gebrauch als wiederrum der Akku streikte. Daraufhin kontaktierte ich den Waterpik Kundenservice die innerhalb 2 Tagen antworteten und sofort ein neues Gerät kostenlos zu mir schickten! Das ist ein Kundenservice den man leider bei anderen Herstellern keinesfalls findet und womit sich Waterpik von allen anderen erfolgreich absetzt! ( Zwei frühere Phillips Mundduschen funktionierten nach wenigen Monaten nicht mehr und wurden weder erfolgreich repariert noch ersetzt!)
