Fantastic multi media art book/sketchbook
I’m studying textiles/art/design and I needed to record my work and do art drawings etc in it. The paper is an excellent quality. It has a hard cover to protect my work which was imported. The price was reasonable for the quality. I used fountain pen ink in it and it didn’t bleed. The paper has a good weight for collage and paint. So far I’ve only used pencil crayons to colour my illustrations. It’s very functional for students.

Great sketchbook
My daughter needed an A3 cartridge paper sketchbook for her GCSE art course work. This sketchbook has been ideal. It is good quality and a reasonable price. My daughter carries this to and from school multiple times a week and it is very robust and is not showing signs of wear and tear. The paper is great quality. This is now the second one we have purchased as so happy with the first.

Very good for all sorts of art or scrapbooking
I have purchased this sketchbook four times now and I keep finding it the best ring-bound sketchbook at this price. The paper is perfect for all sorts of art, including drawing, pen drawings, markers, watercolours and my most recent venture, scrapbooking. The sketchbook is perfect for them all. I have found that when using markers they do go through the paper to the other side, but I don't mind this; I just keep it in mind to make sure I don't spoil works. The paper weight and grain feels great and high quality to draw on and the ring binding allows it to be laid flat. The rings are not the strongest which is okay but you do need to bare this in mind just to be careful with them. The rings are also easy to set back in place should they bend as well. The rings account for allowing the sketchbook to be thicker, such as if you are adding photos, without having to remove pages or have the book span out. Also due to the way the paper is in the sketchbook it is easy to remove pages to either make the book thinner or to use the paper outside of the sketchbook. Overall this sketchbook is a well-priced, high-quality sketchbook which is a great size and works really well for anyone who wishes to create art of any kind.

Great with gel pens and pencils.
I love these pads. I want to try fluid ink or tints on them, at some point, but for gel pen and pencil work they are fabulous. Water-colour? No. I mean - it's possible if it's an almost dry brush which is used but this paper will buckle with normal water-colour use. The only thing that could make them better (but would probably make them more expensive) is if the edge by the ring binders had a straight perforated line to help with getting a precisely angled removal from the pad. Sometimes, when scanning, a person may want to put that edge against the scan plate buffers and if you're scanning something bigger than A4 - a consistently exact line would help with 'stitching' the scanned images back together. Haven't tried printing on this paper. Is that even possible? Dare I try it (I have a pretty standard domestic printer) or will it jam?

Great for A level artists
This was a book that I used throughout my A level art course and it worked beautifully, the paper is great quality and can be used for a range of media even watercolours! There isn't much texture to the paper so it is rather smooth to work on and the front and back cover is hard back so that anything inside the book is protected. The spiral bound aspect of it makes it great for turning the pages without getting messy and also for taking pieces out of the book if desired, I'd recommend investing in this if you have quite a few pieces that you need to get completed as sometimes it is hard to find a sketchbook that is as high quality as this
