The King of Entry-Level Sim Racing
I've had my eye on the Logitech G29 for a while, and with the recent price drop to £169.39, it was the perfect time to get one. It's a huge step up from the cheap budget wheels and honestly, for the money, you can't really do much better. It's built like a tank with a solid steel construction and a nice hand-stitched leather steering wheel cover which feels great in your hands. The stainless steel paddle shifters are a nice touch too and they feel really responsive. The force feedback is the main thing here, and it's brilliant. It uses helical gearing which makes it pretty smooth and quiet, unlike some of the older wheels with their clunky gears. The wheel has a 900-degree lock-to-lock rotation, so you can really get a feel for the car on those big wide turns, just like you would in a real car. The pedals are also a big improvement over other brands in this price bracket. It's a full three-pedal set with throttle, brake, and a clutch, which is brilliant if you want to use the optional shifter for more realism. They're pressure sensitive and the brake pedal has a really nice, firm feel to it which helps with precision braking. The force feedback is strong but it's probably not as subtle or as detailed as some of the more expensive direct drive wheels you can get now. Those wheels are in a totally different league price-wise though, so that's not realy a fair comparison. For the price, you get a solid, reliable wheel that will last you for ages and give you a great introduction to sim racing. It's a huge improvement over using a standard controller. Logitech says that a lot of the plastic parts are made from 52% certified post-consumer recycled plastic, which is a nice little bonus and good to know they're thinking about sustainability.

Great wheel for the price
I swapped to this from a Fanatec Porsche GT2 wheel on PC. Seeing as that wheel cost twice as much (and with no pedals!), it was nice to find that this wheel was not a million miles away in quality. The force feedback is strong yet able to convey subtle forces giving a great feeling of when your wheels are losing traction or your back end starts to slide out. The wheel also reacts very quickly to input, there's absolutely no delay between turning the wheel and you vehicle responding so it feels quick and sharp, the GT2 feels slightly vague in comparison. The wheel is leather bound and feels solid and well made. The extra buttons on the wheel really help giving you 18 push buttons plus the twisty wheel thing as well as your gear shift paddles, but I did find the buttons tricky to press in the middle of a race but maybe that was just because I'm not used to their placement. Even the pedals feel good, the brake pedal in particular now feels more like a brake pedal as the resistance gets firmer the harder you press. All in all, if you are after a wheel and pedal set for the PC then you cannot go far wrong with one of these. Every racing game ever made for the PC was designed around the G25, G27 or this one so you know you're going to get a great experience and support. Tried it with Project Cars and Forza APEX both were really good (APEX in particular). It even works with Forza Horizon 3! Setup was painless, windows 10 detected it straight away but you'll still need to download the latest control panel. Once done you can tweak all kinds of settings and map buttons to key presses etc Shame it doesn't come with the separate H shifter, but I can recommend the Thrustmaster TH8A if you really want one.

Great kit love it
Grabbed a bargain in the Black Friday sale. Came as a pack with the gear shifter. Easy to setup even tho you only get a piece of paper with instructions no actual booklet you’d expect. Download the software for calibration and other settings. Has twist clamps to hold the gear stick to the desk and steering wheel. Would have liked some foam or rubber feet to prevent marks on my desk. Nice soft material too on both the wheel and gear shifter. Pedals has an anti slip grip for carpet which works well. Played wish ET2 and beam ok.

Fantastic PC Wheel
Fully compatible with an existing wheel stand which is an essential requirement - lock this on to your desk and say goodbye to everything on it if it's not a sturdy solid oak table. The pedals are responsive, the wheel and pedals offer a vastly superior experience when coupled with driving games of any sort - I've tested the wheel in both American Truck Simulator, European Truck Simulator 2 and more recently Project Cars 2. Each title offering the wheel & pedal set a chance to shine with it's very responsive and adjustable Force Feedback giving you the feeling of direct control in the vehicles of your choice. I haven't tried it in a drifting game, but there's nothing to think this wouldn't do the job. As an entry level wheel for the driving game enthusiast it's affordable, and compatible with the G27 shifter just no buttons will map. There is an adapter if you already have this piece of kit and want to use the keys. If you want to use it on a PC, select PS mode and calibrate as normal. The set up and space required depends what you have and how tall you are, there's many different stands available offering different seating styles, I'm using my normal office chair but as I'm 6'3" tall and the stand is currently unable to sit under the desk I'm further from the monitor and keyboard that I would like to be, so do your research and take in to account it may require at least 5 feet of space including seating and access. Would I recommend it - oh yeah, as a non-driver in real life it's so much fun to recognize how to down shift and brake and what happens to a vehicle when you do something silly. I stall much less often in both racing and A/ETS2 games than I did at the beginning so there's a learning curve but most software offers aids to help ease you in and you can set the difficulty/realism depending on your mood or personal ability. The downside is the paddles on the wheel isn't analogue so they can't really be used as throttle and brake, well they can but only as digital inputs which isn't the same at all. Device recognition even the LGS software fully updated leaves a lot to be desired. If it's not Windows compatible I wish they would say so or fix the software drivers so they work. It's not a device you can leave plugged in at all times so playing this lottery is very annoying.

Great way to get a fun sim experience on a budget
Love this item, the build quality is great with very comfy wheel for long term use. The force feedback is very good and has great adjustability as does the steering lock. Lots of buttons to program different features in for each game too. The device has a USB connection for the console and a power chord for mains connection. The pedals are good but the for my game I had to turn the brake pedal setting up to 4x travel.

Love it
Great entry point for people looking to get into driving games. Honestly it might seem like an investment if you are just dipping your toes in, but honestly anything cheaper is just not as good. This has a great high quality feel, the force feedback is good too. If you are expecting these to feel like the cheap arcades, this feels a lot better. I am hooked after 1 week of it. You wont need an upgrade for a longgggg time unless you start getting really deep into sim racing and want to simulate f1 conditions.

Loads of fun
I have bought it for my son, but I enjoy using it as well. We are mostly playing Gran Turismo 7 and it gives loads of fun to use it compering to a pad. You need to get used to using it, it is not that easy at the beginning and it may be discouraging. But once you learn how to use it, it is amazing. I love the size of the wheel, and the leather cover. The build quality and the feeling is very good. I have compered it in the shop to the cheaper model of Thrustmaster T80 and it felt more like a toy for younger children compering to this one. It is nice that it has the functionality of the pad so can go through game menu using the wheel. Using it on the couch is not the most comfortable. I have found the pedals nice to use, but when playing for longer time the angle is not perfect for me and causes some discomfort. It feels much more comfortable to use with pc, connecting the wheel to the desk and using gaming chair. I would say for casual gaming it is a great choice, gives fun, feels pro, quality is good, and it is compatible with many games (e.g. Need for Speed). It is nice that it works with PS5 and PC but huge minus for Logitech for not making one version that would support xbox as well (you need g920 version if you want to play on xbox, but then it does not support PS).

Best budget F1 wheel for the PS4 (?)
My apologies but this review is going to take the form of a short story. As a F1 fan of many years, about 15 years ago whilst living in South Africa, I came across a racing seat to compliment a PS2 (I think) with the then current F1 game included and a Logitech racing wheel. This proved to be amazing fun for both myself and many other friends. On leaving South Africa the seat was packed away and put in storage. I recently came across the seat and started thinking I would really like to play F1 racing simulations again. Obviously the PS2 is no longer an option so I acquired a PS4 Pro and F1 2018. The Logitech wheel and peddles attached to the seat were, of course, redundant. So, I looked around for a new combination wheel and peddle set that I could use with the seat, PS4 and new F1 game. Not wanting to spend too much on this as I wasn’t sure I would even really get that much interested in racing simulations (I could always return the PS4) I settled on the Thrustmaster T80. This proved to be hopeless – like trying to drive a 20 year old vehicle where the steering joints have all worn loose at very high speed. I was ready to return the PS4, the game and then dump the seat but I started to look around for alternatives. At this point, I came across the Logitech g29 on Amazon and knowing that my original wheel was a Logitech I thought this worth investigating. The g29 has force-feedback which my original PS2 wheel also had and the T80 doesn’t and realised this might be good. I looked at Thrustmaster options with force-feedback but they were nearly double the price of the Logitech and I wasn’t feeling very confident in Thrustmaster at that point. So, I bought a Logitech g29 and I can tell you that it is simply stunning! It took a few adjustments to setup the wheel and peddles to work with F1 2018 but having done this the experience is addictive. It feels like holding the wheel of the car – I feel in complete control. This makes F1 driving simulation come to life. I love it! The quality of the wheel is so much better than the Thrustmaster T80. I paid £80 for the Thrustmaster and £170 for the Logitech g29 but the difference in build quality and game play is far beyond that difference in price. I would have returned the whole kit if I had not gone to the g29. I am now extending my racing games beyond F1 and wondering what there might be beyond the g29! This is an amazing piece of kit for £170.

Très bon produit!
Je recommande a fond le produit, cependant attention vous pouvez recevoir un câble d’alimentation vers une prise non française. Je vous met une photo du câble qu’il faudrait avoir chez vous au cas où. Sinon le retour de force est incroyable.
