Kunys Ap450 Journeyman Half Apron

I love the products this Canadian company produces. This is a high quality apron that has many, varied storage areas. I prefer the flexibility that a half apron provides, by being wearable on either side it leaves one side free of impediments which helps increase my work rate. You can store whatever you need for the job in hand quite easily as the pockets are deep and varied. The all weather leather kept my phone dry whilst exposed to skin soaking rain and the top pouch is the perfect size for a tobacco tin. It uses a rollover back that easily fits a 2" belt and is very comfortable to wear. The stitching is neat and precise, the rivets are strong and well made and the leather is top quality. I'm extremely happy with this and highly recommend it.

these are great aprons my first one lasted me about 15 years eventually wearing a hole in the bottom Ive had 2 since first one caught on a scaffold clip and ripped apart my old one did the same plenty of times but never came apart I dont think the newer ones are quite as well made but still better than most others on the market

Very good pouch, great quality as to be expected! One thing I would say and it is very very minor because it doesn’t change functionality one bit. The pouch that will arrive looks slightly different to the one in the photo, mainly the sign that’s riveted on to the bottom pocket isn’t there as the make and model name is now printed onto the top pocket. But as I said this doesn’t damage functionality at all, if anything it’s one less piece to get scuffed up!

Perfect for the job, sits comfortable on the hip. Pockets are nicely sized and the whole product is well made. Makes you feel like a proper handyman :)

So I forgot to write a review when I bought it 3 years ago... but here I am. A colleague needed a new nailbag and asked me to order one the same. No it doesn’t look like the one on the photo but by god is it quality!! Regular abuse from me, not daily as I’m mostly off the tools these days but can handle the tough environment of a shuttering job.

I've given it 3 stars as it had a name paint stamp instead of the quality name badge on the front which was disappointing for a present. I checked with Kenya and they said it looked like a genuine product.

use it for my drywall paraphernalia, perfect for me and my kit... things stay in the pouch, when placed down and stored properly. big pockets for plenty of w/e fixings... i even keep a couple metal sockets for cut outs in there -- fits drywall axe/hammer in sound

The one I received is not quite the same as the picture. The Kuny's AP450 is printed in white on the top pouch as opposed to the riveted on one shown in picture. The hammer loop is the more common round shape as opposed to the rectangular one shown here. I contacted Kuny's directly. Based on my description, they had doubts it was genuine. I was asked to check the label attached inside one of the pockets for a bar code number. There were no labels in any of the pockets. They did agree the attached cardboard label bar code appeared to be one of theirs. After sending them requested photographs, they eventually confirmed that it was 100% genuine. (On my Kuny's drill holster, there was a bar code label inside the holster which matched the attached cardboard label). In Kuny's own descriptions on their website of this half apron, the cats paw holder is mentioned. Not happening, unless your cats paw is shaped and sized like a drywall saw. Their picture of the half apron is the same as the one here on Amazon, not the same as the one I received. With the initial doubts on authenticity, and Kuny's not being too sure if it was one of theirs to start with either, I returned mine. Mine was supplied directly by Amazon, not a marketplace trader.
