Trezor Hardware Bitcoin Ethereum Wallet – Black

I had a few difficulties getting mine going, but the Trezor team were very helpful - Be sure to check out their Reddit page if you find yourself getting stuck and if trouble persist they have a Kayako Helpserve page that you can sign up to and receive direct help. The reason I chose to purchase this from Amazon was that in order to buy directly from Satoshi Labs it seems that you have to spend Bitcoin. I believe that Bitcoin will continue its trend upwards over the years, especially when we encounter another financial meltdown - for this reason I did NOT want to spend bitcoin to buy this item as I consider it (in the loooong run) to be an appreciating asset, hence I used my shoddy old Sterling ;) Its a very cool piece of kit, with a very intuitive security method. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to keep their Bitcoin offline and in a physically safe place. The Trezor was straight forward to initially set up but as the title says, I'd highly advise you to watch a few Youtube videos first before attempting any transactions with this device. I accidentally made a simple error (which caused me severe panic!) while attempting to transfer Litecoin from a well known online exchange to the Trezor. This was due to the Trezor wallet being in my opinion rather unclear, even after reading the documentation. Luckily I eventually managed to rectify my error after searching online. Transferring Ether to the Trezor is stupidly complicated too having to go via MyEtherWallet. Beware that the price seems to fluctuate as much as cryptocurrency does as I paid £87 at the end of Nov 2017, a week later it was advertised at well over £100 so keep an eye on that. Apart from that a very worthwhile device for peace of mind and having full control over your cryptocurrency assets. Just do your homework first and you should be fine.

As stated in the subject line, this device arrived fully sealed, hologrammed, and secured in line with Trezor's strict standards. It was very easy to set up, and the security steps required before the cryptocurrency thereon can be accessed provide a solid reassurance that your crypto-assets are safe. Well worth the £40 or so I paid for it.

I like this little hardware wallet! I got my hands on this to begin squirrelling away the occasional Satoshi for some family members. Nice little gift to be able to handover at some point in the future.

It does what it say it does but sadly does not do many coins. I am unable to store a lot of less known coins

What a pile of junk! Luckily I only put a test amount on it. First attempt to retrieve coins and the device is not recognised by my PC. Even if this is retrievable, this device is still junk! I will just put it down as a loss and throw it in the bin! I will not buy Trezor again

Great product simple to use and set up. However, don't buy your crypto though it. The broker's used are BTC Direct - I made the mistake of putting a trial order with them for 42 Euro's of BTC, paid via bank transfer (UK to NL), then received a message telling me the transaction had failed. However, the money was taken from my account. Rang my bank who confirmed the money HAD been taken and provided me with a tracking number to give BTC Direct to locate the transaction. Even with this they claimed not to have received the money. In a nutshell, use Trezor as your wallet - but sort your purchases elsewhere.

Easiest hardware wallet to use Newer version Covers more coins compatability. I plan to also buy it But great starter Easier than competitors brand which are horrible for support and use I gave up on competitors after glitchy software and woeful hardware updates which render product useless once updating it. I tried to fix this issue with them and sadly they just didn’t care and wasted on competitor good money. Save yourself the headaches and pay the extra much better product and support I will not use any other now. Also compatible with exodus interface. Just saying not plugging anyone but super easy to cross between them. Take ownership of your tokens and buy one. Terrific product
