This is a game changer. When i was using eye drops i kept missing my eye plus i wasnt sure how many drops i had used even when i eventually getting it in my eye.so this one is absolutely brilliant. When my eyes are dry. I feel as if my eye lashes are scratching my eyes. Its such a horrible feeling. With this fantastic one you close your eye and with one spray the dryness is gone. Its such a good relief. Its quite cheap especially its not getting wasted as i dont miss my eye when i use it. The relief is quite long lasting and my eyes feel great again.

This really surprised me. I was dubious about how spraying my eyelids could provide relief for my severely dry eyes. But, what an ‘eye-opener’ it is! It is really effective in reducing the discomfort of my dry eyes and the results are pretty much instant. The spray isn’t harsh, you don’t feel like you are being slapped in the face. Nor does it disappear into the air and never reach your face. Instead, it’s a decent spray that covers the necessary areas instantly. The size is perfect for a pocket or bag and I will be taking it to work to help me get through the day. The smell is a little different but nothing to put me off buying this product. I would definitely recommend it for helping when eyes are sore and dry, especially as its size is so handy to take wherever you go. I have tried many products to help with this cumbersome problem and this is the best by far, better than the expensive eye drops!

I regularly suffer from dry eyes and these sprays really help. I normally use a supermarket brand (as they are less than half the price) but with them being out of stock recently, I decided to give the Optrex ActiMist a try as they were reduced in price. I must admit that I much prefer the Optrex ActiMist to the brand I normally use, and I do fully recommend this product to anyone who suffers from dry eyes. One thing I will say, is that I would not pay the RRP (or anything close to it) as this is far too expensive - I know it's Optrex, but the recommended price for the product (currently at £15.99) is eye-watering. Luckily, Amazon and other retailers do occasionally drop the price to something more reasonable. With the product having a really good expiration date (over two years), it is well worth buying multiple boxes when the price does drop. Although the product is good, I've only awarded four stars because of the exceptionally high RRP. UPDATE: I've just finished a bottle of the Optrex ActiMist and although the spray no longer works, there is still some product left in the bottle. The reason for this is because of the slight indentation at the bottom of the glass bottle. No matter how you hold the bottle, the spray mechanism is unable to use the remainder of the product because of this indentation. It's only about 6-10 sprays worth but multiply this by the amount of bottles you may use, then it becomes quite a sizeable amount. Given the high price of the product, this needs to be looked into by the manufacturer and modifications made to prevent such wastage. I would also suggest that they make the bottle more recycle friendly as trying to separate the different components (metal and plastic) from the glass bottle is extremely difficult.

Worth the buy it works

A fantastic product that moistens dry eyes and keeps them moist for several hours. Perfect for dry eyes or excessive screen use. Convenient as you only need to spray on closed eyes. No side effects.

This spray is really, really effective. I’m not sure how it works, but it genuinely helps relieve my dry eyes. It’s a little pricey, but it lasts a long time.

Very effective

This is game changer. I wear contact lenses a lot, almost 8 hours everyday. I used to carry eye drops with me everywhere but just lazy to use it so I ended up have to live with dry eyes. This is soooooo easy to use and it works magically. I recommended it with one of my flight attendant friend and she said she loves it! Highly recommend

This eye spray was recommended by a friend from the UK. The first time I sprayed it on my eyelids I noticed a bad smell like rancid cooking oil. My eyes started to burn, and I had to wash them quickly. The smell lingered even after I had thoroughly washed my face, and my eyes were sore and swollen until the next day. I think the product was contaminated or old stock, and I can't return it. Terrible!

Long time dry eye sufferer. I've tried everything, from Restasis to every drop on the market. It all helps, and its all very temporary. I've used Optrex for a few days. here's my observations. First a lot of it misses the eye, getting the right angle and distance. What does get on the eye is nice and "wet". as you blink it refreshes. It seems to evaporate quickly in shade or bright sun, but there seems is a lasting effect on my eyes. I wake up in the morning, with lots of dry crud buildup in my eyes, after using Optrex 3 or 4 times the previous day, I've noticed no buildup, so I know it's still working. This is nice! My one gripe is that I'd wish that "wet" feeling would last longer. Overall it seems to work, but I still use my other drops, it's not a cure. I'll post back in a few more days to update. Update:Now that I've used 1/2 the bottle I'd say, yes it works but due to cost I don't believe its worth it. If the relief lasted longer, say several hours, I might buy it again.
